Monthly Subscription must be paid.
It has an ongoing subscription to use, otherwise pointless. The subscription is dependent on the number of employees you have.

Works great. We have one at each location all tied to the same subscription.

We have been using uAttend timeclocks at three different branch locations for the past three years, but recently upgraded one branch to the JR2000 model. It works as described! There are lots of options about lunches, holidays, PTO, and they've launched a scheduling function as well. We don't use all of these features because we don't really need to, but they are available. It's easy to control multiple units over multiple locations, and you can even set up employees to be able to use multiple machines. It has been mounted outside in a shaded location for the past 9 months and I see no fading or wear on the screen, so it seems to be happy outside. I will say that this JR2000 model was a VERY nice upgrade over the older units with a number pad, I would highly recommend going with these. I've seen some reviews with issues about connectivity. It does periodically disconnect from wifi, sometimes after a power outage, sometimes for just no reason at all, but it's generally very easy to reconnect. The hard wired LAN connection is considerably more stable so I would recommend that if possible! There is a setting to turn on offline data, in which case if there is a power outage the punches are saved and will be automatically uploaded into the system once the connection is restored. I would also highly recommend using that function! We haven't had any of the issues I've read about data being completely lost. In reality, if that were to happen, all you would need to do is re-connect the timeclock to your company and all of the records (employees, fingerprint templates, PIN #'s) would be downloaded back into the machine...I guess what I'm saying is, if you're having issues like that, maybe get someone more tech-y involved! It's like any other gadget, none of them work perfectly all the time and it's a good idea to learn how to do some basic trouble-shooting. And if that is above your pay grade (or below your noble stature) then get an IT person. Similar products and services are available for double and triple the price of what these simple little devices cost, they may have a more robust support team but I can't think of anything that these units are lacking.

Product works here and there... Loses connections constantly - the back end (program is limited) If you pay your employees biweekly, the hours worked broken up per week will include their lunches - it adds breaks as part of their hours - you can't remove that function.

It worked well for a while, but within 6 months, we started to have problems. After speaking with tech support, we were forced to buy another unit as we could not wait 6-8 weeks for them to fix our current one. Well, after just 3 weeks with the new unit, and another $200 spent, this one does not work either. That's two units gone bad in less than a year. Going back to paper timesheets would be easier than dealing with this nonsense.

Bought this more than a year ago and finally installed yesterday. At first, it was a headache because I couldn't complete programing because the time clock keeps asking for "Set Administrator Code" and and "Assign Failed". After trying for more than 50 times I contacted customer service and the service was great. An agent called Andrew helped me through the process and made a factory reset and now it works great. When You access the system, it's really easy to work with it!!
