It's what it claims to be.
Pens are like shoes. What is perfect for one person is painful for another and vice versa. I personally like this pen. I like the fatness--it feels good in my hand. I like the smooth way it writes, always on demand. I like the click. And as someone who has purchased pens at many price points, I think it's worth the $14. Can you get cheaper pen? Yes. And if you want super cheap with ease of writing, buy a pack of Bic Cristals. They are great workhorses that won't make you sad when they break. That said, while I'm positive you can get comparable quality pen for the money, I'm not sure you can get a better one. Lightweight pens are made of lightweight, breakable materials. A metal EDC pen will easily cost you $40+, and that's on the very cheap side. All in all, this is a good intro pen to the FSP line if you are a person who likes fat pens. You get what you pay for here and no more.

My favorite fisher pen
For many years, well over a decade, I’ve owned at least10 Fisher Space pens. They all function as they should, with the extraordinary quality of Fisher pens: writing without flaw as long as there is ink. Most Fishers have one quality that bugs me and that is that they are small. This is not a deal breaker, just a pet peave. This pen, while still small, has a broader cylinder which makes it feel big and it’s very comfortable to write with. I’m almost certain this pen is plastic where most Fishers are metal. They offer a metal pen with a very similar feel in a rubberized matte black called “fisher space pen zero gravity matte black rubberized”. This rubberized version is very nice but costs much more. So far this is my favorite Fisher. Please click the “helpful” tab if this review was . Thank you

What a nice pen!!!
I have used Fisher pens for years. I have never had one I did not like. I read all of the negative comments about the pen. It is plastic, I agree. Most of the pens I use are plastic. It is big and comfortable to write with and it is a Fisher Space Pen. I could buy a whole pack of inexpensive pens for 10 dollars, but I wanted a good reliable pen to sit on my home office desk so I can have it to pay bills, notes, every day writing like I have come to expect from a good pen and this particular pen lives up to every detail I expect from a pen, especially a Fisher Pen. I have a small aluminum Fisher I carry in my EDC bag and I love that pen. This one is far more practical because it is a "click" pen and it has such a good feeling to write with, I tip my hat to faisher for making such a nice econonmy pen for every day use. Keep up the good work Fisher, because you know your pens, ink cartriges. needs of people who just want a good pen to write with on a daily basis. I highly recommend this pen for purchase.

Useful
Fairly good to , but I hate the plastic case, feels cheap , useful to use , only if the size was slightly towed down for its thickness

No skips or blobs in 20 degrees
I had to clean my garage, which meant if I was going to be able to do anything without ripping my hair out, I had to make a plan. While in my garage in the winter, I tried to write this plan with several different type of pens and they all froze up and wouldn’t write. After researching and reading about this company’s pens I thought, what a great idea. It writes in 23 degrees on regular lined paper with no problem. The pen is kind of beefy, maybe 1 1/2 - 2 times the diameter of a normal pen. This worked out tremendously because I was wearing gloves. It was much more difficult to write with the slimness of a regular pen. I’m picky about how the ink comes out of the tip of whatever pen onto the paper. Having skips and spaces in the line of ink is more than annoying to me. I was afraid of that happening here, but no, the ink comes out smoothly and uniformly. No skips, ink blobs or anything like that. This pen is awesome. The company also has a bunch of different versions for various occasions. There are also several with an emphasis on the design of the exterior of them. So, not only is there exceptional function but a well designed style as well. Definitely something I’m going to look into.

Missed the mark
When I saw this I thought it was a good looking pen. I also anticipated it to be a heavier, sturdy pen. When it arrived it was cheap plastic with a very clunky action on the bolt. The pen still writes well even with the above criticisms. But for $10 I’ve found Walmart pens that are equal to or better build quality. Fisher pens are certainly good quality typically I think this budget option just the mark.

Great little pen!
Writes great, even on wet paper or upside-down, and it feels good in my hand. Barrel may be a little too thick if you have tiny hands. I'm very pleased with the pen at a reasonable price.

Bought two of these, and have one at my home and one at the office. So smooth and easy to write with. Can yo get refills for them?
