It Ain't "Astrological Love" but it's definately "Alright Alright Alright"!
Ryan Deiss and Russ "Wooderson" Henneberry have served up yet another delicious "all you can eat buffet" of marketing knowledge bombs. For me, what I have found most impressive about Ryan (besides his self deprecating humor and unbridled love affair of piano key ties) is how passionate he and his team at DM are at not only applying all that they teach, but how transparent they are with sharing their results and data.My two biggest takeaways for me with this book are:1. The importance of understanding your client Avatars and then using it to craft your ideal Customer Journey2. Pixeling and Retargeting: How to creating the right offers to the right person at the right time (lead magnets, funnels, ads etc) and then listening to what the data is telling you to optimize (the data is always the boss). Love the "traffic store" analogy tooHighly recommend this book and if you like what you see, be sure to check out their DM Lab Facebook group. Learning this knowledge is great, don't get me wrong, but the best thing you can do is to surround yourself around people of like mind who are applying these concepts. From my own experience I can tell you that using these concepts has tripled my income this year and more importantly, I feel profoundly more confident in my marketing skills. My daughters still think I am a goofball, but that's a different story.Buy this book but more importantly, apply at least one idea as quickly as you can. And then another. And another.

This is exactly what I was looking for!
This was exactly what I was looking for! I had a marketing course at uni (some time ago) and was always low key involved in the basics through my previous job, but I never had to actually work with digital marketing.I wanted a book that adds onto the knowledge that I already have but still give me a better understanding and deep dive into different strategies. This is the book!It really starts from scratch and gives you an amazing understanding about the bigger picture. They explain all different strategies and techniques in a great way and I can’t stop reading it!After completing this book I will feel that I have learned exactly what I wanted to get out of a paid marketing course (just without the homework).

The FIRST Resource for Anyone New to Marketing in the 21st Century
Digital Marketing is a moving target--so much changes so fast and keeping up is impossible for any one person. It takes a team--and Ryan Deiss and Russ Henneberry -- and all the others teachers and strategists at DigitalMarketer have been a God-send for me and my business in keeping up with the changes, learning the latest strategies and tying everything together. This book ties all the elements together and should be THE first resource for anyone new to marketing or is feeling lost on where to start. But don't be unrealistic about expectations either--the subject of every chapter could be an extensive book topic all its own--and this book can put you on firm ground for the beginning of your journey (or to jump-start a stalled one, and also help point you in the right direction).Note: I gave it only 4 stars because there was just one thing missing: a USB connection so I could just plug the book into my brain for instant download, access and memorization. Get to work on that one guys...

Never Take Advice From Someone Who Doesn’t Have Skin In The Game...
Deiss and Henneberry have successfully been able to have articulated – in a sequence – a complicated business with a lot of moving pieces into a how to manual that even most inexperienced and technologically unsophisticated can understand. The book has tens of millions of dollars’ worth of R&D as it is essentially the same operating manual Deiss & Co has used to build his massive Digital Marketer enterprise. That is a lot of power to pack into a $29 book which shouldn’t be underestimated. Therefore there is no theory as compare to other similar books; Digital Marketing for Dummies contains pure results-driven content. A must read for anyone even thinking about starting a small business to scaling and buying media on the larger social networks. As of the time of this writing, I’ve purchased 14 copies – one for each employee in one of my businesses as required reading and onboarding.

Must Have Resource for Beginners - Save Time and Money
I do a lot of training for new social media managers just entering the industry to serve their small business clients. When I saw the incredible step-by-step content of this book, I immediately bought a copy for each of my team members, and also recommend it as the first step in all of my personal Social Media Manager training clients. Previously we had a list of ebooks I would recommend, this resource, however, is an easy manual that can be kept on your desk. My copy is already highlighted, with sticky notes and action items noted. This book will give you an incredible foundation for digital marketing - that any size business can utilize and have actionable results quickly. I highly recommend and will continue to do so.
