Well made, sturdy, accurate, and simple.
I ordered this miter gauge and have been using it on my Dewalt dwe7480 table saw. So far I love this thing! It was super easy to set up, calibrate, and get right down to business. I only have one complaint, but that is with the table saw, not the miter. Pros: 1. It is very easy to set up this mitre. as long as you have a carpenter's square and about 5 minutes you are ready to go. Loosen four screws, align the mitre to the blade, and tighten the screws and you are fully adjusted on the mitre. 2. It fits very snugly without any play in the miter guide slot. This miter gauge will work with either t-groove or plain groove miter slots, all you have to do is remove one screw to get it into the plain slot like my saw has. Once it was in, I used the included allen wrench to tighten down the snug circles (there are four in total) and after that I was left with a mitre that moves smoothly without any side to side play. I was extremely impressed. You do need to really put quite a bit of elbow grease into the screws, but the expanding circles do a wonderful job of getting everything set very nicely and securly in the groove. 3. Adjusting the angle is super simple, super fast, and super accurate. I measured a few different angles with a protractor and square and they were all right on. I was super impressed. Simply loosen two easy to reach set knobs and you are ready to change your miter. Tighten them back down and you are ready to go. Con: The only con I had was with the verticle square. The instructions said it was perfectly adjusted out of the box, but my square indicated that it was slightly out of square. Luckily, even the verticle adjustment is super easy to do, and within ten minutes I had the whole thing set up. This single con was not enough to cause me to lower the rating. All in all I am super happy with this miter gauge. If I was ever in the market for another one, you can bet I would come back here. The price was also very reasonable for what I would call a fine tool.

Accurate, Well-Built Miter Gauge That Feels Professional
The Incra V27 arrived perfectly square and accurate straight out of the box. The fence bar adjusted cleanly to fit my table saw’s miter slot—no slop, no binding. Once locked in, it glides smoothly with a solid, repeatable feel. The positive detents at common angles engage precisely, and the fine adjustment screw makes dialing in half-degree cuts easy. I checked the 90° and 45° stops against a precision square and digital angle gauge; both were spot-on without any tuning needed. The build quality is far superior to the stock miter gauge that came with my jobsite saw—this one feels like real precision equipment. Even with a small sled attached, the V27 stays stable through long cross-cuts. For the price, it’s an exceptional upgrade that immediately improves accuracy and safety at the saw.

Great Tool, Great Price
This is a solid well made Miter Gauge. I use mine exclusively on my Laguna 14SUV Band Saw and it does a wonderful job. I saw some review that said it was a little small, well that is what those two vertical slots are for, attaching a hardwood fence. My saw has two miter slots one on each side of the blade so I attached an oak fence and my first cuts were to trim down the fence so the edge of the fence exactly in line with edge of my blade. I know with the stock held against my fence exactly where the cut will be, and it acts as a zero clearance jig for stock no higher then the fence, this means less chance of tear-out when the blade exits the stock. feature. Spend a few minutes tuning it up to be sure everything is aligned as you should do with any new tool and you will be delighted with the Gauge it is easy to set and the adjusters to take up any slop in the miter track make the gauge glide firmly and easily. The Gauge also has a removable T-Slot tip so if your saw does not have a T-slot just a standard 3/4 miter slot you are able to remove it if necessary a small but nice You can't go wrong with this gauge I like it so much I took back a table saw I bought when I discovered it had a non-standard slot and I could not use my beloved V27 with it so back to the box store that went, I like it that much. If you are in need of a quality miter gauge be sure to check around for what fits your saw but you will not be disappointed with this one.

Tight, quality, but needs adjustments
This is a very well made product, heavy materials. Incra has a reputation for quality. BUT, you need to set it up. On my Sawstop, the bar was quite loose in the miter slot, and I had to tighten the nylon adjusters along the bar a lot. One hint I got from another was to oil the allen bolts that tighten the nylon adjusters. Otherwise you might snap them off (I recommend this step). Worked great for months but just recently I noticed that it was out of square to the slots and blade. I adjusted and tried, and it was dead on, then drifted again. I realized the adjustment plate and lower plate were slipping. Shiny metal on shiny metal, not a surprise. I took them apart and glued some 220 sandpaper to the bottom of the adjuster plate. Reset and tightened and now it's tight. We'll see if it holds (This sandpaper thing usually does the trick). Only other quibble is it's heavy (But maybe that's necessary, right?), and when I pull it back far enough, it drops below the table surface and I have to lift it up a tiny bit to reengage. I'm not yet sure if it's superior to a crosscut sled for 90s. If you do a lot of angled cuts, it's hard to beat. Read the manual re how to set it up. I'd buy this one again. Recommended.
