C4LabsZebra Case for Raspberry Pi 3B+, 3, 2, 2B and B+ Heat Sinks and Power Cord Included-Wood

I bought this case as I was assembling an RaPi2 to run Retropie (since the wood gives a nice retro feel). I picked the parts, placed the order, and it should have been that simple, but it wasn't. First the carrier, USPS, was 1 day late even with having Prime, which is a little annoying considering that's what Prime is essentially for; 2 day delivery. Luckily I was able to get that resolved with ease but then....I noticed something was wrong with the kit I received; it was missing two plastic corner pieces, screw set, and rubber feet. Some pretty critical parts to build this thing.I contacted the seller directly later that evening by accidentally sending 2 emails and another one asking for a return/exchange once I realized the plastic pieces were missing and within an hour, I received a response back apologizing for the missing parts. After a few polite, responsive, and very helpful exchanges that evening of asking for order # or name/address, they scheduled to send me a new one the following day.Sometime later the next day I sent another email to see if there were any updates regarding shipping/tracking info, and within 30 minutes, I was sent one. About 2-3 days later, I finally received it and it was well worth the wait.I was able to set it up in minutes, with all the parts intact, and it is a beautiful case. The instructions came on a neat little 2-sided card that was pretty concise and easy to understand, essentially a break-away diagram of all the parts and how they go together. Peeling the protective adhesive paper only took me about 10 seconds just using my nails. I started gently scratching around corners and they came off with hardly any effort. The HDMI, audio, and power slot all perfectly line up with the plastic plate slots on mine, no over hanging or misaligning and it is tightly secured by the parts holding it in allowing full access to any given port. Although, this is probably common sense for most, but I would recommend starting with the very bottom plate, put the screws through all 4 slots so its somewhat standing, and then build up from there. I assembled everything AND then put the screws through, basically just making it a little bit difficult for myself to hold it all together long enough to thread the screws through, but even with that I was able to assemble it in mere minutes.The reviewers who have said they never heard from the seller must have had their message go to a spam folder somehow, wasn't sent properly, or some other cause for them to not respond, because my experience with C4 Labs was nothing but pleasant and extremely helpful. I would certainly buy from them again and would recommend them to others. Their customer service was more than exceptional and this wooden zebra case is not only great looking, it's also very well built, sturdy, functional, and protective.I suspect that the missing components were somehow Amazons fault since they were the ones who fulfilled it from their warehouse (which I no longer see the Fulfillment description on this product page like when I bought it). Either that or they just simply had an incomplete kit on hand and I was the lucky one to receive it.*******************************CONCLUSION:I would have given this around 3.5 or 4 stars based on the hassle of not only being a day late with Prime (Amazons/USPS fault) but also receiving an incomplete kit, BUT, C4 Labs customer service was very friendly, helpful, and responsive in replacing the kit at no extra charge and didn't request for the incomplete one back before shipping the new one. The case itself is really amazing, it's very simple to put together with concise and unique instructions, and looks great on a desk or anywhere else you might want to place the RaPi2 in view. The wooden frame really stands out and turns the RaPi2 into a very unique looking electronic device. I certainly don't have one quite like it.5/5 stars- Great, reliable costumer service for a wonderful and unique product.

This is my second one of these little cases and I friken love them!! they are easy to assemble offer pretty good protection, come with the heat syncs and look really nice.I built the first one top down and the second bottom up both ways worked well so long as you make sure you follow the "first piece" instruction.You can easily get the SD card in and out. I saw one review that said if you are doing a ton of stuff with the IO pins that you should just forgo the case, and this is true if you are changing the IO's a ton at one moment, but if you hook up some jumpers for you project using a kelly clamp to help navigate the reduced space by having a case around the PI you will be fine. Again if you're doing a TON of changes on the IO pins just wait to install ANY case really.I did look at how hard it was to add a display and camera connection after assembly (There are cutouts for display and camera as well as IO Pins). Its pretty easy unscrew the screws so the top nut part comes loose. Place on a flat surface to hold the screws in place remove the top plexy, install ribbon into slot and then pass ribbon through plexy and finally into display or camera easy as Pi (haha puns). Re-set nut parts with screws and tighten down done and done. Super easy! Of course if you have the camera and display from the get go just assemble as you assemble the case.Pros:Fits like a gloveLooks greatEasy as Pi (ha more puns) to assemble and useCons:I dont have more Pi's and cases.PS I hear that c4labs is super easy to work with should any part break or not be what you expected. I didnt have to call customer service but know some who have and they have all said they are top notch!

Note:-I used a Raspberry Pi 3 B+-In the pictures I also have the "Official Raspberry PI SENSE HAT upgrade for Zebra Case". This does not come with the case and must be purchased separately if you want to use with the Sense HAT.I originally purchased the "C4 Labs Zebra Wood Case - Raspberry Pi 3, Pi 2, Pi B+ and 2B Heat Sinks Included~" and wanted to upgrade the case so that my Sense HAT could fit within the case. I am glad I made both of these purchases. The case is built with such quality and looks amazing. I was a little skeptical at first after reading a couple reviews showing that parts were missing or that the RP3B+ did not fit.The only suggestion I have for the manufacturer of the case/upgrade is to mark the pieces with numbers or letters on the paper that you remove before installation. This will help the user with easier installation if these numbers or letters are used on the instructions.Pros:-Great Quality, blows the competition away. The feel of the case is what does it. I have 4 other RP's with cases and not one of those cases is a great as this one.-Fits perfectly-Very detailed so that all the ports can be accessed easily including access to the SD card.-Looks great!!!Cons:-Needs easier installation instructions. It does come with instructions to follow but just something that can be tweaked in the future to make it a little easier for the user.Overall this is a great buy. If you are looking for a case for the Raspberry Pi 3b+ look no further. You will not be disappointed.

Great case, relatively easy to assemble. comes with heatsinks, and has gpio access and wall mount/vesa mount options. i had another case similar from another company, and loved it, but im glad i took a chance and tried this one.

The case is a work of art! It fits perfectly and is clearly made to a very high standard from quality materials. It came well packaged, with clear easy to follow instructions and even had heat sinks thrown in for good measure. Worth every penny, the pi3 has never looked so good.

The quality is extremely high, better than expected. The fit is perfect, it's very strong and and it looks so neat and tidy, it's an absolute bargain... the next Raspberry Pi that I buy will be going in a case from C4Labs for sure!

Fits my Raspberry Pi perfectly. It doesn't look like in the picture so I'm not sure if I assembled it wrong.. It doesn't have the same dark wood finish as in the picture.

Makes my pi look amazing, Highly recommend!
