Thule Gauntlet MacBook Pro Sleeve 16", Blue

Macbook's aren't cheap so you may as well pay for the extra mile. This case does a great job and is stylish to protect your Macbook Air 13". Most cases are soft, scratch the side of your computer duo lack of protection on the zipper side. This case is thin, yet perfectly padded on the inside and sides protecting it from rubbing against the zipper. The hard outer shell protects your Macbook Air from bending and impacts (they are very thin after all). You can use this case with the Macbook Air still inside (hence the straps) except for charging or usb use. However be cautious, my straps upon closing sometimes get trapped between the screen and keyboard so pay extra attention to this detail !!!! If you fully close the lid with the straps trapped in between you have a chance to damage your screen. I think its because there are some kinks in my straps that this is happening, i'll try to iron them out or in worst case cut them off. Case is soft on the inside, zipper is bigger and smooth vs regular cases.

This case has adequate padding and side padding which other cases I have owned do not. I bought it to protect it inside my Tumi travel bag (which came with no padding despite its price : P). While I agree with another review that the straps on the side could cause a catastrophe, that is Apple's fault as it is MacBook design. Computers can either look pretty or be tough, but they generally can't be both. The other review also suggested cutting the straps on the side if you have a MacBook to save yourself from an expensive mistake. Probably not a bad idea.

This is the only Thule brand that would fit my husband’s MacPro laptop that I got him to use for Law School. His Mac is still running great and he doesn’t want to upgrade! I bought a Thule Gaunlet in grey as well in 2011 when I got the Mac. The only difference between that one and this newer ? The old one fit a bit snugger on his model and it had Velcro straps to hold the Mac in when zipped up. However, the OLD one did NOT have the fantastic soft spongy interior as this new one does! and the NEW one does NOT have the Velcro straps… my husband says “no problem” he hasn’t had an issue with any sliding about. He said if he does, he will simply add a short strip of industrial strength Velcro on the back of his Mac and bottom inside of case. Brilliant idea! He works with his Mac as it stays in the case anyway- that’s what’s so great about the Thule Gauntlet case! You never have to fumble are removing your Mac- you can work right from the case. Thule IMHO is awesome quality! I mean, his first case lasted eleven years and frankly the only wear and tear was that there was some fraying and crumbling off of material around the zipper. Honestly? It’s still usable but I want him to look his best in every way- right down to his Mac case :) Order any case from Thule- just DO IT!

I bought this case to keep my new Apple MacBook Air M3 13" laptop protected. My main objective was protection... I didn't care too much about appearance, style, or if the Apple Logo was visible. I first thought I would get a snap-on case, but quickly decided against it because I felt it would cause the laptop to overheat and I was concerned about premature wear on the laptop's hinge. Then I thought about a slide-in sleeve, but felt they were all about style and not so much about protection. After deciding on a zippered case I decided on this Thule Gauntlet because it looked tough enough to protect it from drops and bangs and had a lot of great reviews. Now that I have it I think it's a great proactive case and have confidence that my new laptop will be well-protected.

The Thule MacBook cases are among our favorites. In credibly well built, comfortable to the hand whilst providing good protection from most of the dangers we all face. This particular case was a bit larger than we were expecting for our older MacBook Pro 15, but it works. Would recommend any Thule case for those looking for great protection.

Feel very secure with my laptop riding in this case. Fit and feel is wonderful and the color is amazing! Throw it in your bag and go!

Excellent product THULE is the best cover

Great Laptop case! Keeping my Laptop safe, and I don't have to worry about it that much when it's in my Backpack. Shows sings of usage after 4-5 years.

A distanza di quasi un anno dall'acquisto lascio questa recensione per dire la mia esperienza con il prodotto. Ho acquistato il MacBook Pro m1 da 13 pollici e ho cercato disperatamente per mesi una custodia che fosse resistente e non di quelle morbide. Mi sono imbattuta in questa e nonostante il prezzo un po' alto penso che valga tutti i soldi spesi. Il pc entra perfettamente e la custodia resiste benissimo agli urti. Viaggio spesso e porto il pc sempre con me, la sicurezza che mi da questa custodia non penso che la diano altre meno resistenti. La consiglio per chi: - viaggia molto - vuole avere la tranquillità di portare il computer con se usando qualsiasi tipo di borsa, anche borse di pezza - è disposto a spendere qualcosina in più per avere un prodotto di qualità per proteggere il proprio computer Nel complesso direi ottimo. Unico difetto che può essere riscontrato è legato ai due piccoli elastici laterali inseriti per fare in modo che la custodia prenda la forma del computer quando aperto in modo che si possa utilizzare lasciando il computer all'interno. A volte nella chiusura possono creare qualche problema perchè non si ripiegano bene, ma basta prestare un pochino di attenzione e tutto si risolve.

Protects my laptop very well,. Easy to get dirty bu also easy to clean. More sturdy than other cases.
