Q: Will a standard garden hose fit in the channel of the medium?

I have 2 garden hoses, cable TV cable and a 50 amp power cord running trough mine from the utility post to my 5th Wheel RV with no problem.

Q: What will hold this on the floor without it sliding around when stepped on, etc.?

There are places on the bottom that will hold rubber feet. We attached ours to a wall and it works great.

Q: I'm confused about the width. You say its 4" wide, but the specs say: 1.5" width x 0.5" height

Greetings Eliva,There are 2 different models for this product, a small and a medium.The 1.5" width x 0.5" height is the channel size of the small unit.The medium has a channel size of 4"wide x 1" high.If you have any questions, please let us know.

Q: Will it fix over water garden holes?

I run a garden hose across my driveway to water the far side of the yard and always worried when it got ran over. I bought 4 of these to go across this wide driveway area and run the garden hose through it. Even heavy loads of gravel in my pickup have driven over this fine and my water hose is safe from damage.
