Q: what is the material used for making the eggs

its like some kind of hardened dirt / clay mix. instructions say to soak eggs in water for about 5 minutes so that you can dig out the dinosaurs. We found that soaking them a little longer helped (really depends on the child and how adept they are at using the little digging stick) they were fun and my 7 year old grandson had a blast excavating the dinos

Most of them are real fossils, there are a few fake glow in the dark ones for fun.
