Look... This is very clearly a book for woodworking for beginners. The clues in the name and it does a jolly good job at it.Basic tools and measuring are clearly explained. If you are Thomas Chippendale there is not a lot for you...Come to think of it if you are Fred Chippendale (based south of the river and knocking out those lovely antique wooden CD players you'd probably pass too).This is a great book that clearly explains everything. There is a lovely plan for building a bird box and some kids toys. If you want a bird house great....if you want to build a house and know nothing about woodwork well this is a good book to help you get started...but ...like one step at a time right?Please note plans for house are NOT included.It is for both adults but maybe more kids too. I loved it!!! Something for everyone (if you don't know nuffink about woodwork)

Bought for the husband to do a few bits around the house there are some crafts that he can do with our little boy so I'm excited to see what they build.
