Baby unit gets hot and won’t be replaced
For some reason my baby unit gets hot and I asked for a replacement and they won’t cover it. Also the parents unit has a really bad battery life. Generally it only stays good for about 4 hours and needs to be plugged in again. Over all I like the monitor but the fact that I didn’t break it and it doesn’t get replaced is disappointing

Just buy it
I absolutely love this baby monitor. The split screen works perfectly. I love that it doesn’t toggle or switch between cameras on the sound. You can hear both cameras at the same time. Has auto power saving mode when unplugged. Screen on 15s off 3s. I have seen comments about it doing this while plugged in and people getting mad it isn’t a constant screen. For that you need to turn off VOX and the MOTION settings. Once you do that it will stay on constantly while plugged in. You’re welcome ;)

One feature kills it for me
If you're the type of person who wants the screen to stay on ... this is not the monitor for you. There's no way to prevent the screen from turning off. I guess this a battery saving feature, but it would be nice to have the option to turn it off. If the monitor is unplugged, the screen shuts off after 15 seconds. The audio still works. There's an option to have the screen turn on when it detects noise, which would be great, but it's useless because our daughter sleeps with a white noise machine. If that feature is on, the monitor will display for 15 seconds, turn off for 3 seconds, and then turn back on for another 15 seconds because it detects the white noise machine, turn off for 3 seconds, over and over again. There's no way to have a steady stream of video ... even when the screen is plugged in ... because it'll turn off and go to audio only after 30 minutes or so. You buy a video monitor to have access to constant video. I do not understand why this isn't an option that can be turned off. Other than that dumb feature, the monitor is the best we've had. But that one feature (that you can't change) is so baffling to me that I can't give a video monitor that does not display constant video a good rating or review.

Dumbest monitor ever
Why you would ever make a monitor that didn't have the option to stay on continuously is BEYOND me. The fact that throughout the night the monitor continuously turns on and off keeps me awake, and during my son's naptime I can't watch him to make sure he falls asleep without holding the monitor and continuously pushing a button to turn the screen back on. Stupid, useless feature. Also, if you have the baby movement setting on, the monitor beeps at you constantly. Why would I need it to beep at me non-stop?!?It has a great picture, and I absolutely need a monitor that will work for two rooms/babies, but this is NOT that monitor.

All you need for dual camera view!
So far so good! This should be a major brand. We had an earlier version and it worked quite well. One of the kids must have thrown the monitor because the screen went all white. This new, dual display is quite an upgrade. When using only one camera it covers the whole room with a fish eye lense. When using split screen you can move the camera remotely, like with other monitors, to get the best view. The HD detail in this new system is quite good, too. The temperature reading is more accurate too. The range, just like the old one, blows the name brand stuff out of the water. The battery seems to have a good life too. The controls within the "menu" are pretty clunky, but it's not worth taking a star off for that.
