Not to me. It has a very light, sweet (fruity?) smell.

We have never had a shipping issue, but our hairdresser gets her Goldwell from another source other than Amazon and is having a hard time getting shipments.

Q: Is this good with oily hair?

I don't think so unless you wash your hair frequently.
