Fred’s Penthouse Paradise: 5 Levels of Feline Luxury!
This has officially turned my wall into Fred’s personal sky lounge—and let me tell you, he is living for it. Assembly was a breeze—super easy to put together and mount, like feline IKEA without the leftover screws and existential dread. That said, if your cat is more "hefty gentleman" than "light-footed kitten" (looking at you, Fred), I highly recommend upgrading the drywall anchors. Gravity is undefeated, and Fred has… a commanding presence. Now that it’s up? Oh boy. Fred struts up those levels like he’s on the red carpet, flops dramatically in the hammock like a Victorian poet, and spends his afternoons bird-watching with the intensity of a nature documentary host. I’m honestly expecting him to start narrating scenes from the window soon. “Here we see the noble sparrow… completely unaware of my majestic gaze.” This shelf setup has turned my living room into a cat castle, and Fred into its lounging, loaf-shaped king. 10/10—would mount again.

My cats are obsessed
My cats literally fight over this moon bed. We have another hammock bed, also bought on Amazon, that they barely want to be in. Meanwhile this bed is in high demand by all of our 4 cats 😂. It’s to the point we are actually going to get a second one! Make sure to put each part in at least one stud (the bed is better with two) and you are good. The steps came loose the first time we installed because we didn’t put it into a stud. Other than that, our huge 15 lb cat gets into this thing, so it’s very sturdy!

Great Product! Looks amazing and serves its function.
Not only is this hammock cute, but my little guy absolutely loves it! Growing up, my cats never had a cat tree so this handsome kitten I found in the woods is now being spoiled by everything my mother said no to, ESPECIALLY a cat tree!! I wanted something high up to allow the cat space to escape my pitbulls — jokes on me, they want to escape him — and after some shopping around a wall tree seemed like the best option. The set was easy to assemble, and simple to get into the wall. The cat head shelf even included pencil markings on the wood for more simple assembly! I did fold up a small blanket in the hammock, which he didn’t use prior to the blanket, and he’s since made it a regular nap spot. The ONLY complaint I have is the stairs can only incline to the right so I had to drill holes into the opposite side to allow a left incline. It wasn’t too difficult, but I am knocking one star because of it.

Cats LOVE them.
Product is as described. My cats and kittens love them. I used my own screw-in drywall anchors, weighted for 75 lbs and they are nice and secure.

Decent, with modifications, but have my reservations
I read the instructions, they were very clear to line up A1 with A1, C2 with C2, etc. I appreciate that level of specificity to the instructions. However, when I lined up those holes, the pieces did not sit flush and the shelf would be off-angle with the wall bracket. I did have to drill new holes in the brackets to get them to sit correctly. I secured them with wood glue too since this seems to be pretty soft wood. I noticed the top of the shelves where the larger screws sat didn't have countersinks, and with how fast my cat sometimes zooms up to her shelves, I would worry they'd catch her paws. So I had to create countersinks in the tops of the shelves so the screw tops would sit flush with the wood. I chose to use heavy-duty plastic toggle wall anchors as opposed to the small expander wall anchors. Again, my cat sometimes runs full throttle up to her shelves and I don't want these falling while she's running. I've used those expander anchors before and she's torn the shelf out of the wall. Otherwise, it was fairly easy to assemble. I don't have a spot chosen for the hammock so I can't review that. But I do have my reservations about this shelf. It seems /really/ expensive for what it is and for the modifications I had to make. I am also thinking about adding additional supports to the portions with wall brackets. Something about how soft the wood is makes me really cautious. I've only just put it up as of 7/15/23 so we'll see if it lasts! Edited within a couple hours of writing this. I’ve had to glue craft felt to the steps because she’s already slipped off of this. Glad I was right there to catch her!

My kitten loves this!
My 5 month old kitten loves to play on his wall furniture! He sleeps in his moon every night. Assembly was fine as long as you match up the letters written on the parts. The wall anchors were bending a bit so I had to go to the hardware store and buy some sturdier ones to use where there was not a stud. I hope when my kitten grows and increases in weight, the stairs will hold up as they shake a bit when he jumps down on them. But all in all, this furniture set is great! Happy with my purchase so far!

Buy if you want to make an extra trip to your local hardware store...
I'll start this review off with the pros: -The shelves are really cute -The wood is well-cut and sized -My cats absolutely love it and it gives them their own space in our apartment. Now, sadly, THE CONS: -The hardware is absolute garbage. The plastic anchors that come with these shelves should not be used by anyone. They could not "catch" the screw threads, leading to a free-spinning screw and a shelf that wasn't actually secured to the wall. You have to go out to the store and buy #10 2-2.5" drywall anchors and screws. -The hammock fabric is too loose. We ended up putting our cats' bed in there (as you can see from the photo) to try and limit the hole size. If your cats are as active as mine, I wouldn't trust that they might not slip through. All in all, you shouldn't pay $100+ for a product and end up having to spend extra money, put extra holes in your wall, and drive back and forth to the hardware store trying to figure out what defective part you were given. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone I care about.
