Q: I just bought 1 lbs of Zinc Sulfate for my 3 ft tall pecan tree. I didn't find a anything inside the package on mix ratio?

For foliar spray use 1 tablespoon zinc sulfate per 3 gallons of water (springtime works best).For use as a soil additive use 1-3/4 lbs. per inch of trunk diameter

Q: How does it work on pineapple plants?

I use it on citrus trees and do not have experience with pineapple plants. However, it is a basic nutritional ingredient for all plants as far as I know. It has worked well on the citrus trees.

Q: For roof application is very it mixed with water and if so, what mix?

Zinc sulfate can be applied in the powder form on the ridge of the roof at a rate of 5 pounds per 1000 square feet of treatment area. This can be very dusty and not recommended. For better results, mix it in a sprayer at a rate of 2.5 pounds per 5 gallons and apply it at the same rate as the powder. 2.5 pounds (5 gallons) would be applied to 500 square feet.
