We live all of the pencils from this brand but these ones are extra fun! Erases really well! Grip and design are your typical pencil. They are a little more spendy than your basic pencil but they write so well we feel they are 100% worth the price!

Ticonderoga pencils have always been a good value for me. They sharpen well and are good quality.

These are a great brand of pencils! Bought for my 1st grader to use. I did not receive the assorted color barrels as advertised in the photo on Amazon. My daughter wanted the purple pencil that was shown in the pack of the product photo but instead the 10 pack we received included 3 variations of pink, a yellow and a light blue as shown in a photo on another customer's review. (with the Target logo) Luckily my daughter also likes pink so we are still able to use this pack. I don't think it necessarily deserves a bad review, but i also agree that Amazon should update the product photo to accurately reflect the colors. Otherwise, potential customers are hopefully reading these reviews and realize they may not get the exact colors of pencils as pictured in the product description.

My drawing professor would speak highly of Ticonderoga pencils for everyday usage. I've been using them when I don't have access to my regular drawing set of graphite pencils. The lead is nice and sturdy! I accidentally dropped some of these and the lead didn't crack on the inside!! They also take a while to wear down when I'm drawing or shading intensely with them which is great. Overall, the colors are really fun in this set and I'd definitely recommend them if you need a reliable every day pencil for class or general use.

My son is in Kindergarten, and is now a pencil expert. These are by far his favorite. I bought him a box of the yellow ones for the school supplies list at the beginning of the school year. I've now learned that the classroom is a socialist environment, and all supplies are used communally. He could never find his Ticonderogas in the big pencil box! I bought these for him to take in his backpack. He likes that they come in easy-to-spot colors. He has also been sharing them with his friends, as they all seem to realize these really are better than the generic pencils! The lead and the eraser hold up well to the pressure of a little boy still learning writing technique!
