Works as advertised for HK, Macau, and Japan!
I bought 4 of these for a family trip to HK and Japan for 10 days, so to cover 2 day gap, we also got a couple SIM cards upon arrival in HK with China Mobile service.Good thing we had the AIS SIMs, because we decided to take the ferry to Macau from HK and when we arrived, we discovered the China Mobile service didn't work (the prepaid cards were too low on balance)! Thankfully the AIS SIM with CSL did work so we were still able to contact our friends who were picking us up. Speed was good, we were able to play Pokemon Go when we wanted without much problem, Google Maps loaded great, voice calls via Whatsapp worked well too.On arrival in Japan, we had an issue once we were in Narita airport. As soon as we disabled airplane mode, we started getting text messages from AIS that we were on the wrong network. I had no idea what was going on, but the texts were coming steadily every few minutes. I got through to customer service with free call to AIS and they indicated it was a software issue they were experiencing that day, and that I needed to choose the network operator manually. Pretty simple to do in Android, the phone had automatically connected to NTT Docomo, but should've connected to Softbank. Once I switched, the messages stopped coming and service worked. In Narita, maybe the signal reception wasn't good, we would periodically lose connection to data, but once we reached Tokyo proper, everything seemed fine. Again, all the same apps we used in HK worked fine in Tokyo.Towards the end of our trip, one of the SIMs seemed to get SMS messages warning of data usage, but from the phone data usage measurement, it was only about 1.4GB vs the 4GB limit, so maybe that was a warning that came way too early? Not sure, the other 3 SIMs had no such text message received. All that said, the service was quite good for the entire trip and it really saved us in Macau. Would recommend and likely use it again should we decide to visit Asia again next time.

Doesn’t work in Hyderabad, India. Try your luck elsewhere
Didn’t really work in India (Hyderabad) as /instructed and no local support number. I just gave up on my money.Prerequisite: An unlocked iPhone for use internationally. We used another SiM provider for UK/Italy and it worked like a charm on the same phone.1. The instructions as you to turn on the phone AFTER you land in India. We did. It never caught any signal at al, not at the airport not at home.2. We looked for a support site or a local number. The support site was in Thai and the English version seemed like a waste of time to navigate. The only support number to call was also Thai.Maybe it just doesn’t work in Hyderabad, India.

Easy to use, highly recommended!
Worked seamlessly in Japan in Nov 2017 with iPhone SE iOS 9 Verizon.I popped in the sim card while waiting for the luggage at the airport in Tokyo. The service was up and running by the time I got my luggage. No registration or setting change required. Just make sure that data roaming is on and airplane mode is off. It even comes with a pin to open the sim tray. The product is made by a company in Thailand and you will receive a couple of text messages in English and Thai while using the product.I downloaded Verizon Message+ app before I left the US, and I was able to receive calls and texts from the States without extra charges. I mainly used Whatsup and FB Messenger apps to communicate with friends and family back in the US while in Japan, and used Skype to call non-US phone numbers. Skype app is not the best but it does the job and I have the Microsoft office subscription. There are probably other options for making non-US calls while traveling abroad.I'll be using this sim card again for my next travel to Japan. Highly recommended.

Easy to Use - With Some Inconvenience
-The Sim cards were easy to use. Just installed them and they were up and running in about 5 mins (used on 3 of 4 phones in our group)-The service worked well in Tokyo and Seoul and with very good speed-We only used texting and email communications, did not try a phone call-We needed to use WhatsApp to send texts to an Android phone, we could not send texts normally to the Android phone using the normal iPhone messaging app-No issues texting with other iPhones-Received a lot of texts from Provider to refill...ignored them...service was not affected-Note to users: You will be assigned a temporary phone number in place of your current phone number. Plan accordingly when communicating with others

Worked in South Korea
Was skeptical about it working, but I wanted data when I land in Seoul so took the risk and bought it. I inserted the SIM on my unlocked iPhone and and got all these texts in Thai. I had google translate so that helped, but basically it worked. I think the instructions say you just need to have cellular data and data roaming turned on. It works for only 8 days and you get a Thailand phone number. I didn’t use it for any calls though, just data. When I text people my iMessage contact still shows up as me. Anyway, it’s only good for 8 days from the time you activated it (Thailand time).

Easy installation, pop in and go
This was a great SIM card for my recent trip to Taiwan. I popped it into my cell phone when we landed in Taipei, and I had strong signal throughout the whole duration of my trip. While the speeds were not always exceptional (usually around 5-7 mbps), the signal was consistently good throughout my stay, and it was beyond sufficient for Google Maps and general internet browsing uses.

Don't waste your money and time
It doesn't work. I followed all the instructions line by line. Got frustrated in a foreign country without connection, hoping the customer service would help, and they didn't. No answer. I realized this was a money scam after a few hours of frustration. Please save yourself from this.

Worked at first then the plan changed
Worked when I activated it in India and kept working in Thailand the next day. Then I installed the AIS Android app and received a 3 day/1GB plan that seemed to have overridden the original 8 day plan. So after 3 days, it stopped working and I had to top up. I couldn't figure out how to reinstate the original plan and customer services doesn't seem accessible.
