Very nice bright light, definitely worth the money.

Had it a year now. High quality. Shine it at an owl that landed on the street light and the street light shut off because it was so bright; and the light was four houses away from mine.

I use this guy for work and let me tell you what. I love it!! It may be over kill, it may be a little bulky. But I can light up a threat 1,000 meters away and I can nicely aluminate the inside of your car without blinding you all without changing my flashlight out. Just put the button.I was checking ID's with faces so I had it on the lowest setting one light. A coworker walked over and said "I think you need a new flashlight" I turned the light to his face and gave him the turbo. I then asked "you really think I need a new flashlight?" His response was "nope I think it's working just fine"The light itself can be a weapon my friends. It's a great perchase for anyone in law enforcement, fire rescue, military, any first responder really. I keep a charger in my car to top it off every once in a while. I charge my garmine tactics 7 that has a 24 day long battery more than the light and I work nights.

Grip is different than the javalot turbo and hurts my hands, but it lasts me a entire late week without charging, and throws light farther than anything else I have used or seen. Going to wrap the handle to solve the problem.

AWESOME UNIT

I bought this light for my AR-15, along with a quick detach mount. I was not disappointed. It is a beast of a light. Where this light shines (haha) is in the throw. If you are looking for a light that gives you maximum sight distance, the Javelot Pro does well.PROS- Throw distance. Olight says this thing shines over 1000 meters, and while I can't truly test that, I can say that it covers the distance of the lake I live on, and I imagine it must be close to that 1000m number.- Activation options. You can hold this like a traditional flashlight with the button at your thumb or use the pressure switch button on the end, which is how I use it on my rifle.- Charging. Charging is very simple. Olight uses a magnetic attachment that goes over the end of the light so it stays attached and you don't have to fumble with a plug or a rubber cover.- The length of the light is both a pro and a con for me. On my rifle, it's long enough that the pressure switch at the end of the light reaches my forward hand. No extra pressure switch needed to make it usable on a gun.CONS- It's long. It's certainly the longest light I've ever owned. It's not a big deal, but it's definitely not something you'll carry in your pocket. Although, Olight solves that with an included holster. It's also fairly thin, so the whole thing isn't overly heavy or cumbersome.- Charging time. This is definitely the biggest drawback. This thing takes HOURS to fully charge from zero. It does last for days on lower settings, but does not last very long on Turbo mode. While this isn't a deal breaker, it is a drawback.OVERALL- I'm happy with my purchase. It's the perfect light for what I want it to do. If you want to see far away in the dark, then you'd be hard pressed to do better than the Javelot Pro.
