Narrow tabs (2mm wide) at both ends require NO tab trimming for insertion if soldering holes are clean.The negative tab is off-centered, matching the original for safe insertion. There are many off-brand low-quality batteries with fragile metal leads/tabs in the market, always look for the mAh capacity and 'Japan' markings and the engraved 'HR' at the negative terminal for genuine OEM battery.
Replacing battery in electric toothbrush requires soldering skill. Read battery replacement instruction to assess the difficulty involved and access the old battery before purchase.
