Q: does this plug into the mclassic or does the mclassic plug into this?

Ive tried it in various places. Thru the hdmi port, thru the Nintendo switch port from Mclassic to hdmi port. The only way it works for me is connecting it from Mclassic to hdmi cable. All others it doesn’t work. Another thing is it does disable HDMI CEC so it won’t change to the correct HDMI port when turned on. For some reason it will turn on tv and sound system but go to hdmi 2 always.

Q: Why am I getting just a black screen while using with mclassic? My tv is a 65' sony bravia a80j, works with switch but none of my other consoles

This device does not support HDCP. On PS4 and PS5, you will need to turn off HDCP in the settings of the console to use this. On PS3, only using an older splitter that removes HDCP will work as the PS3 does not allow disabling it. On Xbox 360 and Xbox One, It should work fine as HDCP is only used while playing copyrighted video back on streaming services like Netflix.
