📷 Elevate Your Photography Game with Style!
The Gary Fong Bounce Panels set includes two versatile panels designed for Sony a6000 series cameras. The Half Cloud Panel efficiently diffuses flash for softer lighting, while the Amber Panel mimics the warm tones of sunset or tungsten lighting. This compact solution not only enhances your photography but also doubles as an LCD screen protector, making it a must-have for any serious photographer.

Flash bounce or LCD cover - just as useful both ways!
I'm using this bounce panel on my Sony A6300 and it does a great job of evening the lighting on your subject. In my case, the ceiling height was 8 feet where I tested it. I haven't yet used the amber bounce panel. I love that the panel can be turned upside down to cover and protect the LCD screen of the camera. I use it for this purpose even when I don't plan on using the pop-up flash. The panels are made of a plastic material that is NOT fragile, so I don't imagine it would break easily, though I haven't done a stress test on them to know one way or the other. I just know that it's not a plastic that normally easily cracks or shatters. Thanks for an other fabulous design, Gary Fong!

The clear one works great for when there is little to no ceiling to ...
I originally bought 3 L-shaped flash cards from amazon (clear, frosty, and amber), I later misplaced the frosty one so I ordered these to replace it. The clear one works great for when there is little to no ceiling to bounce the flash. The yellow one however, tints the subjects with a really gross, flat looking yellow that I personally don't think looks good at all; The amber one from the 3 L-shaped cards I bought before woks much better for providing a natural, warm white balance to the subject. The diffusers fit snug when in the flash orientation, but when flipped upside-down t I'm not convinced they'd stay in place when walking around.I would give a better rating but the yellow just looks horrendous, and they could fit a little more snug when covering the screen. Otherwise they soften the front-facing flash well.

Trust. the. Fong!
I've been playing with these flash panels for a few days now. As I expected from Gary Fong, they are absolutely perfect. If you're looking for a high powered or off camera light source, then you need to buy a flash! They're not magic. However even with external lighting there WILL be times that you need to use your on board flash and without these it will not look good. The bounce panel evenly distributes and somewhat amplifies the flash rendering a beautiful, useable image without the harsh light and shadows a straight flash produces.

It looks like it is designed for the whole panel to light ...
On an A6000 these are noticeably less effective than the cheaper “flash bounce card” style diffusers that are widely available and come in three packs of clear, white and amber. I thought these Gary Fong Bounce Panel Diffusers would be thicker and the whole panel would light up from the inside when the flash hit the edge. But it turns out they are thin and depend on the flash bouncing off one corner of the panel, creating a hotspot which the design of the product ignores. It looks like it is designed for the whole panel to light evenly, but that’s not what happens at all.I didn’t give it one star because it does work as a protector when the camera is in the bag. I didn’t give it three stars because it is supposed to be a superior Gary Fong product, but is actually inferior to the generics.

Build Quality
This product delivers amazing results, I have used it now for various events and family get togethers and love it. I don't have to bring a big bulky flash anymore. Thank you Gary Fong for this light bounce. made my camera light again.

DO NOT USE FOR A SCREEN PROTECTOR.
DO NOT USE FOR A SCREEN PROTECTOR. Ruin the LCD - left a ghost image on it.

Great flash diffuser for a built in flash
Great flash diffuser for a built in flash. Softens light while leaving enough for good portrait. Can be used with larger lens, without a very prominent shadow.
