Q: I have it on level 3 but i see no mist. when i put my hand over it, i can feel the 'air' coming out, is this normal? is it broken?

I filled this thing to the max line and after 2 hours it hadn't gone down AND there was NO mist. I just dumped out an inch of water below the Max line, like James suggested, and it works! Lots of mist on level 3. Thanks, James!

Q: Does this unit have a timer?

No timer, but it will run all night and stop when water runs out if you forget it. My suggestion, turn it on and hour before bed and turn it off when you get up.

Q: No mist? i just set this up, and while the unit is working, there is no mist at all. i left it on for about 6-7 hours, water level did not change.

You may have it on level 1. On level 3 it's still slow misting. I fill it half way at night and it last 10 hours.

Q: What is the size of the opening where you pour the water?

It's not too big. You have to pour the water slowly so it doesn't overflow from the reservoir before going into the container.
