I was thinking of ordering the 1/4 turn shut-off but found that the water flow was restricted and this one actually provided a larger opening for increased water flow. Very well made and these should be long lasting like the ones I am replace that are very similar to these.

This has always been a good brand, I usually buy them from my supply house, however the price point here was much better, I used these on several hose bib extensions that I make for customers and they work just great.

I had an outdoor spigot failure recently, and used this as part of the repair. With some teflon tape, this screwed right into place securely. The valve was a little stiff at first but loosened up a bit with a little use, and I now have a new spigot with no leaks. My hose screws on easily and very securely. This device is solid, has a good weight to it, and appears to be made very precisely. No complaints, and that's the best compliment I can think of for something like this that you just need to be able to rely on to work and do the job.
