At first my pre-k class and I were really amazed by these water beads. They grow the fastest in plain water. But then I tried doing themed sensory bottles, such as a Christmas bottle. I showed the kids the emerald and burgundy colored tiny beads as I first put them in the bottle. The next day we got to school, and they’d grown. They were light green and pink.I understand scientifically why that happened, but it’s still disappointing when you’re expecting one thing and you get another. Seems like the water beads would come in at least the primary colors and secondary colors first. Even if they are so dark at first they look black. :) as long as their little bag is labeled, we’ll know.

Buy these instead of orbeez! They are amazing and will last for several months! I made one vase full in May and they are still in great shape as of September! I used these as decorations for my wedding and one order was able to fill up 16 mason jars -- and I still have beads left over too! Save your money and buy this product! Buying them at Target costs $10.99 for ONE "jar" of beads. This is an amazing value for a great decorative product. Let these puppies sit over night in a vase full of water and you'll have a beautiful decoration to use however you see fit.

I bought these to use with my Orbeez Crush set. I will say these are a smaller beed than the true "Orbeez" but they work great for my purposes since I am using the for the Orbeez Crush set anyway. Additionally 6 yo son has Autism and he loves the water beads as a great Sensory Activity. My 4 yo daughter also loves them. They worked great for our purposes.

Well, they are water beads like any other water beads but these come in different sizes, it seems. like the white water beads are much smaller than all the other ones and the other water beads are bigger than i expect them to be. they would work for other projects, i'm sure, but they were just not for me.

My daughter liked to put her feet in these beads like she was at the spa. She finally tired of them because she was tired of just sitting and soaking her feet. Was fun while it lasted. Colors are great and product was as stated.

Exactly as described. Works perfectly with all orbeez sets and 1/4 the price of their brand. Great color selection as well. Will order again when we need Orbeez refills!

LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I am using these in my daycare for our calm down/sensory bottles. They are fun to play with and then we put them in the bottles to continue to enjoy them. The kids will sit for long periods of time with these. Such a fun sensory product even though they are intended as decorations.

Such a good value!!! Expand in just a couple hours to the size in photo. My kids love these! Will definitely be buying again!
