Not with your smartphone, only with laptop if you have IOS, something about 1 Bluetooth chip per device. Laptops have more capability. You can link both speakers together with MacBook but you need to do it each time and they both have to be in range

If the microphone that you have can join a Bluetooth signal broadcast, then it will be able to be used with these speakers.

Q: Can I install the speaker where a ceiling light was m/is installed? Same wiring?

The wiring is speaker wire that is included with the speakers. The blue tooth receiver is a unit that is plugged into a 110 outlet. The speaker wires are connected to the receiver. The ceiling light location would not be suitable for this.
