Modern Gold Sputnik Chandelier Vintage 9-Lights Geometric Starburst Chandelier Light Fixture 29" Solid Metal Golden Sputnik Chandelier for Dining Room, Kitchen, Bedroom, Living Room, E12

We're really enjoying this fixture! The finish is a gold paint and it looks vintage. The spikes are steel rods that thread into the center sphere, and are best installed after the fixture is hung. It's not that much weight, but I think trying to hang it and do the wiring connection stuff with the rods sticking out all around would be challenging. Also, one of the first lines in the installation instructions says to turn off the power. Of course, I did not, and since we wanted to make sure it worked as soon as I hung it, I installed one of the bulbs. Sure enough, the bulb lit up just fine. I unscrewed the bulb just enough to turn it off so I wasn't being blinded, started installing the 3500 rods (kidding) into the center sphere. Sure enough, even though things were going well, one rod got poked into one of the open bulb receptacles, made a bit of a spark. I got that know "I told you so" looks from my wife, turned off the light switch and reset the breaker. :-) Anyway, once it's all put together we think it's a really cool fixture, but be ready to spend quite a few minutes on a step ladder. And, while the item's picture shows a pronounced divide between the top and bottom rods, ours is not that big, and is not noticeable at all since you'll be looking up at the whole thing. Because we're old and like a bright light when we need it we used 60 watt equivalent clear LED in the teardrop shape. They look great, but we want to be able to dim the fixture and found the dimmer we had been using could not handle that many LED watts or whatever. So, you may need to get a new dimmer, looks like they're about $20.

Definitely a show stopper in the entrance of my home. Highly recommend. Tedious task in assembling it but so worth the effort like the previous reviews stated. I had it professionally installed. You do have to buy the lights bulbs. They are called tea lights. They require 9 for assembly.

Everyone who comes in our remodeled bathroom is in love with this chandelier. It definitely makes the space. No one else was super sure when my wife picked this chandelier but they (even me) now say now nothing would have been better. Well made, looks nicer in person, and can put any hue of brightness of bulbs you want . We went with warm.

I absolutely love this light—it looks perfect in my foyer window as you come up the stairs. I first spotted it in a movie and had to have it, and it hasn’t disappointed. It casts a warm, inviting glow and instantly elevated my entryway’s style. Highly recommend.

Obsessed.. love it! You have to assemble everything, but it’s worth it for a lower price. Would buy again.

Although this did take a bit of time to put together, it was totally worth the work screwing in the individual metal rods. I love this light and it fits into my dining room perfectly. It looks really expensive, and I get many compliments on it. I also love that you can have dimmer bulbs and set the mood. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and would recommend this light to everyone. The gold is a soft muted color.

So originally ordered two for my entryway and it took three of us and over 2h to try and hang one! It was a disaster! These are INCREDIBLY HEAVY!!! Very awkward to handle. We already had assembled the one so unfortunately have to keep. Will try and install in our guest room. For now it sits there! They are beautiful tho! I’ll update once we have them up
