Q: Is the tens machine option any good/effective on this item? How is it any different from the standard stimulation/pain relief?

Yes, I can throughly recommend this professional TENS machine, it is widely used for: sports Injury, muscle fatigue, Arthritic, Sciatic Pain, Achilles Tendonitis, Cramps, Peripheral Neuropathy. it is the only thing that brings pain relief to my knees, I have osteoarthritis, and I've been able to cut right down on the amount of painkillers I was taking. I wish I'd bought it sooner!!

Q: How long a charge for first time use?

II have owned my TENS machine for a few months now and I have only charged it twice. The machine has an indicator on the screen to inform you when the battery is full. Although it has a relatively small battery, it is very robust. It is not necessary to use it every day. I have mine set to 20 minutes duration. I have used it up to 3 times in one day and never had to use it for another 3 to 4 days as the effect is long lasting, at least for me.

Yes, definitely reusable. I've used mine at least 20 times and they still stick.

Q: Hi where do you get the extra adhesive pads from once you've used up the ones that come with the machine please?

They are the Auvon ones - the ones I brought are ok
