Bumble Bee Foods, is a former American company that produces canned tuna, salmon, other seafoods, and chicken. The company is headquartered in San Diego, California, United States. The brand is marketed as Clover Leaf in Canada. It is now owned by the British private equity firm Lion Capital. However, because BB Tuna does NOT make efforts (or very little effort) to keep dolphins out of their nets (which will kill these beautiful animals-they actually drown as they cannot reach the surface to breath) I will no longer purchase their brand.. I buy only Starkist, which though owned by a South Korean company is still caught and then canned here in America (in Pittsburgh).. Hope that answers your question..

Q: what is the best if used by date.

There's no way to know until you get it. You can expect/demand it be fresh and not nearing its "best by" date but there's no one in the warehouse picking tuna packets off the shelf reading your question. The date varies from packet to packet, batch to batch and no doubt there are different batches sitting in the warehouse. John Johnston's answer hit the nail on the head.

The tuna will show up below the actual cart contents.Each time you click on your "cart", Amazon will show you any price changes on your saved items, both lower and higher.The tuna cycles in price, but should be $12 in a month or so again. Grab some when you see it for $12. It's worth it. Not worth the super high prices, but fair at $12.

Don't know. Very little moisture in this packaging. Also, best wishes on a more optimistic outlook on life.
