This kit is just the ears, rails, screws, power supply and cables
I was recommended this kit by someone on Reddit who said it was good for beginners. I just wish I had researched it better to realize there is no case or box. It's completely open and ready to slide into a larger rack of gear. Though the ears are designed to stand on its own and angle toward the user, the entire back is open with internal cables flopping around when it's like that. It's no big deal to make a box as I have scrap plywood and tools but I wish I had known before it came in. So, yeah, just know what you're getting, unlike me. I don't recommend to a beginner unless you can build your own box or plan on mounting it into a larger rack.
