Helped us immensely.
My son took the AP World History exam as a sophomore and scored a 4 so he decided to take the SAT World History subject test. The problem was that the AP course and exam took place in May 2014 and the SAT Subject Test was offered in June or December. We were on vacation in early June, so the only option for him was December. Well, in November, he started getting nervous because he hadn't studied or cracked open his AP WH book. We ordered the WH SAT book in November, got it in two days through Amazon Prime and crammed during the Thanksgiving break. My son was very glad he ordered the book. There were a few subject areas and topics that are not covered in the AP exam. His teacher only covered what was on the AP exam, which did not include some of the 20th Century historical events in the middle east, Egypt and Central America. All of which are on the SAT test. Well, after only one week of boning up, my son took the test and felt good about having prepared with the Barron's book. He scored a 680, which I don't think is considered excellent, but is also not bad. It was his first SAT Subject test and actually his first experience with a College Board SAT -- he doesn't take the real one until next month. He said he wouldn't have gotten that score without the Barron's book. We've ordered another one for the upcoming AP Environmental Science Exam in May.

Got me an 800
The first time I took the diagnostic test, I was a little worried because I missed about 50% of the answers. The week before the SAT, I went through and read, highlighted, and made notes in the margins of the entire book (I do not recommend this as I was freaking out because I didn't have enough time, and I was studying for hours on end. Two weeks should've been fine though) After taking another practice test, I only missed 10 (which was a huge improvement). I walked into the SAT prepared to get a 750, but to my delight when I got my score back, I got the full 800 points! The practice tests are just like the real deal, and the timelines in the beginning of each chapter are helpful. If you buy this and feel tempted to skip over the details, DO NOT because the SAT World History subject test is very very different from WHAP. All in all, awesome book.

Great book- ALOT OF INFO
Very well written book. Covers all the material you need to get an 800. The only problem is that their is a lot of information that can be stressful to read and be like "wait what the hell" but in the end just read the important things. I recommend using this for detailed information that your like clueless about the subject and crash course if you know a decent amount of but an in depth summary.Usually barons is the best review book but for SAT world history its Crash course>Barons>Princeton.Got me a 650

Decent but too much info
This book is great, but there is way too much extraneous information. The actual SAT Subject test (which I just took an hour ago) was not like this book. The actual test questions focus more on broad themes along with some detail rather than just deatil. The sample test questions and practice tests in this book are very helpful though.

I got an 800 and self taught myself with this book. I am going to take the AP World History test with this. I break down sections very easily and makes awesome connections. Great book and good source for any World History class or test.

I really liked this book
I really liked this book. I got a score of 700 on the SAT. It is pretty neatly divided into different chapters and parts. Please make sure you start studying from the book at least 3 months before your test date. I started some 20 days before my test and I had a really tough time covering everything the book has to offer.

Very insightful
I did not study too much this one, but it provides loads of information one the subject. The practise tests were similar to the real thing, less focused on European History than I thought it would be.
