Plastic and not to thick
Returned without using and purchased something else, this is plastic and not very sturdy feeling to me so went with a different aluminum powder coated unit, returning this on. May work but not for my needs switch pro mount and aux winch switch, not a stereo unit.

Essy to install, just wish they come or offer side covers to hide the stereo wiring.

For the price I did not expect the mount to be plastic. Fit is good.
