Awesome system. Easy to install and use. Lives up to its advertised performance. I installed mine in a 20-gallon freshwater tank that had a persistent green water problem because I had to set it up in a spot that gets a lot of Florida sun. I tried several algae fix solutions and daily water changes to solve the problem. All to no avail. Then I bought this UV filter. In two days of use, I had crystal clear water. My fish seem to like the device too. The male betta has chosen the top of the filter as his favorite perch. the pleco catfish cleans the intake grate. I recommend this filter without reservation.

All I can say is “WOW!!” Within minutes I was seeing the green tint magically dissipate. I thought nah it can’t be working that fast. About 15 minutes after adding it to my aquarium, my wife came in the room and was shocked how clear the water became. I knew then my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. Now a day after treating the tank I sit here looking at a crystal clear aquarium like it was the first day I added water and fish. I would highly recommend if you’re experiencing green water from an algae bloom. I took a picture while writing this review. Knowing how well it worked, I wish I had taken a before picture so you to could see the difference it made.

Cleared tank in a matter of hours. I was shocked. As soon as it came today I put 18 drops in my tank as directed. I came back a couple hours later and water was clear and algae and green water was gone. My tank never looked so good.....I can see the fish! Well worth the money and it really wasn't expensive. The bottle will last me at least a year.

Unfortunately it killed my pond goldfish that I have had for years. Used the exact dosage and added close to filter but they still ended up with a white film in their gills

I will absolutely say that this product does what it claims; it clears up the algae (my five gallon betta tank gets ridiculously green no matter what light sources and how much cleaning I use). However, something to keep in mind if you have a smaller tank is that this product and its included measuring cup-- which is really nice, much better than measuring in drops in the top of the cap! -- really is set up for larger setups, and this product WILL harm your fish if you overdose.I think the product is great for clearing a fishless tank or if you have a larger (20 gallon or more) setup. If you have a smaller setup, like I do, I would keep a look around for other products.

This stuff works so well. Just a tiny amount and within a few hours the tank is clear.
