In the picture (magnified) i see what appears to be a cast zinc fitting screwed into the tank. am i right? they crack, and hard to find and replace.

You can adjust both the duration and frequency of the auto drain valve, and also attach a length of tubing to run both the moisture and noise elsewhere. I still drain my tank when it won't be used for an extended period, was taught that long ago and have just kept doing it since. This compressor takes no time at all to refill the tank.

What is the difference between the 100020C and the 10020cad?

Thank you for your question. the difference on this units is that 10020C is the model and 10020CAD is with an auto drain system. This system will remove some of the condensation in the unit when in use.

What kind air couple does this use? The ones that I have will not work.
