TYC Cabin Air Filter Compatible with 2002-2007 Mitsubishi Lancer

Got this in cabin filter for my girlfriend's 2003 Mitsuibshi Lancer ES. The item was packaged well and even came with detailed instructions that were car model specific! The only thing is, when removing the glovebox on the Lancer, you have to fiddle around with a small black piece on the rear left inner side of the glovebox. I was able to get this piece off after about one minute. After that, the rest of the installation is easy as pie. Use a box cutter to cut along the edges of the outline, and remove the plastic that you just cut out. Slide the filter in (making sure arrow is pointing down), and then use two self tapping screws to screw in the tabs from the cabin filter into the corresponding holes. No screws are supplied, so use two 5x14 self tapping screws. After this, mount the glovebox back in and you are good to go. The cabin filter does have charcoal in the element, so it is a great alternative to the OEM item which would have cost twice the amount. Very pleased with this purchase.

Fits perfectly and installs within minutes. Search Youtube for instructions on how to change your Mitsubishi Lancer cabin air filter. My cabin air filter was that blocked up the aircon hardly worked. When I took the old cabin filter out it was that dirty and blocked with dust and stuff it was totally unable to filter air. I watched Youtube to see how to replace the filter and for my make and model I was even able to find the correct part number to order it from Amazon. A filter from the manufacturer is 5 times the cost. Now my cabin aircon works really well, air feels and smells totally fresh.

Same day delivery was great with Amazon Prime. This filter fit just fine in my 05 Lancer. The back lip was different from the original which was filty and full of leaf pieces and other debris, so these filters do their job. Just note the arrow in the front of the old filter and place the new one in the same direction and the rear lip will not be an issue. This piece was cheaper than most regular non carbon filters. Could notice the air did have a cleaner scent once I ran my air. Would purchase again.

Fits perfectly and very easy to install (instructions included). I was surprised to discover my 2003 Lancer has NEVER had a cabin air filter installed... I wonder where all those leaves and bugs went.... At least we won't have to smell the exhaust from the truck in front of us anymore! Had to use a couple #8 sheet metal screws (3/4" long) to secure the filter in place, but the hardest part of the filter installation was cleaning out all the junk in the glove compartment to access the filter location...

Product Exactly as described fit perfectly . Only complaint I have is on Amazon's Delivery Service. Have had several packages delivered in past by them without any issue. This time Driver stopped short of the Driveway and just threw package down the drive it slid all way to garage door but not without tearing open. Thank god it was not anything really breakable. Got another coming today wont get away this time.

This item was very easy to change and worth the money for anyone suffering allergies. The entire change out takes about 5 minutes max and although not much is immediately noticeable, the activated carbon and normal filter do what they say. I can't say that I've noticed any smells since installed. In addition, the filter keeps all the particles from going through your vents and making them dirty anyway. The filter I removed was quite dirty, which is a good indicator that it has a purpose and is doing it's job.

Just as other reviews on this product I would recommend or use again without hesitation. Directions are great and easy to follow. My car has never had a filter so I had to cut away panel to install filter, it was simple and only took a sharp knife. Found screws that would work since filter doesn't come with any and within 15 minutes the entire project was done.

Fits perfectly, priced the same as most places, no complaints.
