Yes, when you turn it on, it will say "paired" once it connects. But it seems faint and I don't always hear it. There are no prompts for increasing or decreasing the volume. I always keep the volume on my phone all the way up and increase or decrease the sound volume on my car stereo.

Q: How do you sound to people on the other end when using this device for calls?

Seems to be on par with vehicles that use built-in bluetooth calling. None of my call recipients complain about difficulty hearing me.

Q: Can i use as a line-out from an mp3 player? my new car doesn't have aux input, does support bluetooth. this will be plugged into player, not the car
