I was a little hesitant in buying these because my driveway is at least 50 feet away. I was pleasantly surprised when it worked as advertised. You can program a different sound response from each sensor so you know which sensor is activated by the indoor unit. My driveway has a barking dog and my back door says, back door! My basement door has a siren and my front door has a door bell. I bought them in late 2021 and they are still working fine, even through New England winters. They have made us feel safer because we know when the Amazon person is walking up the driveway because the dog barks, they are very sensitive. Highly recommended.

I don't normally write reviews but I have had this device for 7 months over the winter in some sub zero weather on a north eastern pillar 70 feet away from the plug in alarm and it has performed faultlessly. Previous gate alarms I have had needed batteries, were over sensitive to foxes etc and needed frequent maintenance, this one so far has been plug in and forget. The only improvement which could be made is to have the alarm unit as a 'plug through' device so that the socket can still be used.

We use this sensor at the end of a 600ft driveway. Mostly to alert us of delivery vehicles coming in. The receiver is inside the house on an inside wall. We already have a sensor and receiver of the previous generation. Making them all talk to each other was a breeze following the instructions in the manual. So now both receivers in different parts of the house go off when either sensor is tripped.The one-button operation for several functions of the sensor (on/off, sensitivity and manual trigger) takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get it, it works just fine. We live in a very rural area so I cannot say anything about possible EM interference.Mounting the sensor on a wooden fence with the supplied materials took less than a minute. One of the sensors is mounted in the driveway just outside the gate, one just inside. So, when the gate is closed (we have a lot of open range cows in our valley in the winter) we still get an alarm and can open the gate for UPS etc.Both sensors are pointed slightly down and up the driveway, towards the house. I find that works best to detect incoming vehicles. The sensors work reliably and although they are mounted in a less than optimal orientation for the solar panel they have not run out of charge even on days when they are tripped a lot due to work being done around the gate.The sensor and the receiver are built very well. So far, after a few months using the original sensor in a harsh desert climate, it shows no signs of decay. The receiver plugs right into any wall outlet, allowing for a clean and easy install. This unit is perfect for our application.One more note is that the customer service from this seller is very good. They are very responsive and helpful and I would definitely do business with them in the future.
