Video game help.
I like to play video games but do not like to hunt around for the solution of some of the puzzles. This guide is concise and has photos that are helpful. Some of the photos are a little hard to see but all in all it is a good deal. Helpful for me to enjoy the game.

Great guide
Informative, covered a good chunk of secrets, very helpful. The other reviewer has no idea what she's talking about. You can find the list of Luigi locations on page 115. Also she says that it's hard finding the levels in the contents because it only lists chapters. I'm sure all guides do this (Super Mario 3D World prima guide for example)

Save your money and look online for game help
I don't know if the other reviewer even opened up the guide. What I got was a "guide" that looked like it was written in Microsoft Word, with images ripped from photo shopped from google (just examine the cover if you don't believe me), and bound at a do-it-yourself book printer. It told all about the story in the game, and I couldn't find much in the way of secrets. I could not find any mention of how to fill in the paint splash locations, where to find the mini paint starts and even how to find the large paint stars was ludicrously difficult! The book has a table of contents, organized by how many chapters there are in the game..and that's it.There is no easy way to find the paint spots, small and large paint stars or Luigi locations listed in the guide, unless it's somehow listed in the "story-telling" parts of the guide. There is no index of items, enemies, bosses or cards. To find help, you have to decipher it in the text yourself. Either way, it was unhelpful. Also of note: there is no mention of how to build a good deck for combat, help with any of the bosses, help understanding the Thing cards, and nothing mentioned about the "Rock Paper Wizards. You are much better off finding videos on Youtube to get help when you were stuck. (A Prima or BradyGames guide this is not.)*By the way, there is two versions of this "guide": a "color-drained" edition (cute idea, useless in practice since you can't see from the pictures where color needs to be re-added) and this version, which is only slightly better.Best to save your $25, find game boards and videos online to help you when you get stuck.

A must have for young gamers
My 7 year old would not beat the game without this. Well written and informative.

Not worth the paper its printed on
Talk about the absolute bottom of the barrel product. I was hopeful that, despite it being an unofficial guide, it might be helpful and entertaining. Unfortunately this guide provides neither quality. The author definitely thinks they're super funny, but the humor falls flatter than stale Dad jokes. I tried to genuinely use this to get through hard parts in the game, but found more actually useful information on the internet. The author was really lazy and doesn't explain things very well. The worst part is, this guide tries to be cute about ripping you off with a low quality item for a premium price by calling itself the "color-drained edition". Whoever thought it was a good idea to publish a black and white book about a game that is literally about coloring stuff in, deserves a good ol' fashioned punch in the face. The physical quality of the book itself is pretty subpar for most guides. I felt like it might fall apart on me at any time. I would have been ok with it if I paid maybe $5, but almost $20 is straight up robbery. Definitely would not recommend
