Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar, iPhone Lightning Audio Adapter- White

I have an older 2010 car that only contains an AUX jack and no USB port. I purchased this device so I could charge my iPhone 7 and listen to Pandora while driving. Since I like to use Google Maps while driving for traffic updates which is a battery intensive app this item is perfect to allow me to keep my phone charged and listen to Pandora or podcasts while driving. I received the item today and have been testing it in my home and so far I am very satisfied with it. I was concerned with this device possibly introducing noise, humming, or clicking sounds into the audio when headphones or the car radio is connected and so far I hear nothing. The music comes out clear with no distortion. I tested it in my car as well as with my Westone W20 earbuds which are very sensitive to line noise. Some other products that have a lighting port and a AUX jack can introduce audio noise into the car radio or headphones if the components are not properly grounded or lack interference shielding. Unfortunately, this is not something you can determine unless you actually use the product. Since this Belkin product just has two lighting ports this should not occur if you use Apple approved lighting cables and lighting to 3.5 mm audio jack adapters which is what I plan on doing. I will be leaving this item in my car 100% of the time. I live in Houston and I am curious to how well this product will hold up in very hot weather we get in the summertime. Belkin failed to provide any information about the heat or cold resistance of the product on their website. However, it has a two year warranty which is great so I won't have to worry about buying a new one if the Houston heat does end up breaking it. Hopefully, it will be fine but I will make sure to update my review if that is not the case.

Had these adapters for a year now to charge my phone with listening with headphones. Works well, durable, good charging speed, connectivity. These are not always easy to find when you need them so I suggest you get them when you can and possibly two if you are able to. Also good for sharing two headphones off of one connection without worrying if your wireless headphones are going to run out. Yes I would recommend this product to others and would repurchase it if I needed to.

Yes, these cost more than many competitors when I bought them a month ago-- but having tried the competitors in the past, these are the way to go. These work every time they are plugged in with no hassle. On the other hand, with the cheaper knock-offs, sometimes they'd work and sometimes they wouldn't. When the cheaper ones didn't work, sometimes unplugging the cable and plugging it back in worked-- and sometimes it didn't. Sometimes restarting the phone got them to work again-- and sometimes it didn't. Sometimes swapping for another cheap pair (because hey, they are so cheap, they came in a packet of two) would work for a while, until the phone went to sleep and I'd be playing the game of plugging and unplugging again. Save yourself the hassle of not having earbuds that work when you want them to. Buy a decent adapter-- like this one.

Unfortunately I'm having the same issue that many of the other negative reviews are having: after a couple of weeks of use the charging functionality (and sometimes the audio output) goes in and out with the slightest movements to the adapter. I have contacted Belkin support, set up a case, and am supposed to hear back from them in the next 24 hours to finalize a replacement and return. Update: After having some difficulty communicating with Belkin support following my initial contact I was eventually able to continue my replacement process and receive a new unit. Update 2: Less then a month later the replacement is beginning to develop a similar defect as the first unit (this time it's the audio cutting in and out more frequently). I highly recommend looking for a different brand as the failure rate for these seem to be very high, unless I just have really bad luck. I contacted Belkin once again and asked if this was a known issue and if they have a newer revision of this product that is more reliable. They replied with "There could be factors that could've affected its functionality" and "As of now, we haven't released a newer version". I was supposed to be contacted by one of their "senior technicians" but instead they just decided to send me another replacement. And yes, the second replacement has also developed the same issues. 3 units all with the same defect now.

I purchased this late April and have been using it daily up until this review. This product is great. Adapting to Apple's devious decision to remove the ability to charge your device and listen to music has baffled me and left me quite in a jam for a while ever since my purchase of the iPhone 7 Plus. When I saw this product amongst many others, I was hesitant. It's expensive, compared to its competitors. It's bulky, and it seems like just a little tug and you could potentially rip off the hunk of plastic from the wire. However, when it arrived I was pleased to find that I was wrong, to an extent. The cord is durable, it comes stiffened and almost seems resistant to bending whatsoever. In my eyes, that was a plus considering how easy it was to fray Apple chargers. I used it every night to sleep and listen to music. But, I've ran into the problem of the wires inside losing connection. Now I'm unable to reliably listen to music unless I decide to bend it a certain way. I will admit, I've rolled over it with my body, pulled my phone away from it a few times, and possibly bent it too far. I am going to be purchasing another, as I am satisfied with the product and it's quality, but I do advocate that care be taken when using it. It is expensive for a reason in that it is a quality product made by Belkin. If you take care of it, it'll take care of you!

J'ai mis 5 étoiles car j'apprécie le service rendu, et franchement ça les vaut. ➖➖➖➖➖ CE QUE J'AIMÉ ➖➖➖➖➖ 💚 l'audio est parfaitement claire, sans craquement, ou baisse de niveau en écoute ou sur le micro, comme le précédent produit low cost que j'avais essayé 💚 J'ai des appels professionnels qui peuvent être assez longs, et je peux garder mon téléphone en charge pendant ce temps 💚 bien que le produit soit assez gros (sans exagérer), et même si c'est rageant, il est vrai que je l'utilise au bureau, ou je le glisse dans ma sacoche de PC, donc ça ne me gêne pas. ➖➖➖➖➖ CE QUE J'AIME PAS ➖➖➖➖➖ 🅾️ Comme d'autres commentateurs, ras le bol d'Apple qui n'en fait qu'à sa tête, même s'il ont leurs raisons (étanchétité, finesse, etc...),au bout du compte l'expérience utilisateur se dégrade au fil du temps . Utilisateur = cochon de payant (comme on dit chez moi) 🅾️ Les utilisateurs doivent sans arrêt s'adapter au virevoltantes décisions d'Apple 🅾️ Même si la taille ne me gêne pas, Monsieur Belkin aurait quand même pu le faire plus petit 🅾️ Je comprends que le câble rallonge permet de s'adapter à toutes les coques, mais il est vraiment trop rigide (un vrai bout de bois) ➖➖➖➖➖ EN CONCLUSION ➖➖➖➖➖ Le produit est qualitatif et solide, remplit parfaitement son rôle et fonctionne super bien. Je ne peux pas blâmer le produit Belkin parce qu'il vient au secours des utilisateurs pour combler les "errements" d'Apple (et je suis poli). Le prix est exorbitant, mais probablement il y a peu de volume car le besoin est assez marginal. Ürün çok kaliteli. Zaten bu kategorideki tek lisanslı ürün bu. Gerek ses gerekse şarjda hiçbir sorun yok. Ürün hızlı şarj özelliğini de destekliyor. Tabi adaptörünüzün ve kablonuzun da hızlı şarj özelliği olmalı. Oyun (CoDM) için aldım ve gayet memnun kaldım. Oyunculara şiddetle tavsiye ederim.

Necesitaba este producto para poder cargar mi celular y conectarlo a mis audífonos al mismo tiempo. Cumple perfectamente bien su función. El audio no se distorsiona y el teléfono se carga de manera contemporánea. Lo uso en el coche y hay veces que mi celular si tiene pila pero lo sigo usando con el cable del auxiliar y funciona aunque no estén conectados los dos cables! muy recomendable
