Halen Mon Pure Sea Salt PDO 100g

This salt does not have a bitter after taste. The crystals are large like pretzel salt. It does not have iodine added so it is for special use. It is very white in color and the package has suggested ways to use this gourmet salt.

Buyer beware, if you are not familiar with the metric system, 100g is only 3.25 ounces! This was $15 for the tiniest of bags. I doubt it would even fill a salt shaker.

This is the first time I have used this salt and I’ve got to say it’s the nicest I have ever used. The taste is excellent, delicately salty not overpowering it can be used both for cooking and directly onto cooked food. Although slightly higher price than some sea salts it is definitely worth the money. Would recommend you try it. Arrived ahead of expected delivery date and was well packaged.
