is it identical to the non business version, other than the bolt receiver?

Hi Eric, There's not much difference between a Mx Master 3 and the business version of that. The only difference is it the business version comes with a LOGI BOLT USB Receiver and the Normal mx master 3 comes with the UNIFYING usb receiver.

can't I purchase this for personal use? why is it only available for Amazon Business?

I don't know why it's listed as business sale only. luckily i was able to purchase using my employer. you can try different websites which are selling this without a business account however a slightly premium price and no free shipping. The only difference as you might know is the bolt receiver instead. I purchased a logitech mx keys mini and this mouse and use a single receiver now which is bolt.

Logitech answered saying this comes w unifying receiver which is wrong, it's bolt. pls confirm it does also cover keys mini?

The S version of MX3 comes with Bolt. 1). Bolt means a stronger "dedicated" Bluetooth channel instead of shared Bluetooth - and "encryption" - between device and dongle to prevent interception (sophisticated spying - exactly why some businesses don't allow Bluetooth in the offices - Bolt addresses that concern). 2). There is an "S" version - the "MX3 S" - which is different enough to truly be it's own separate device - 3 color choices. the "MX3 S" (8k dpi instead of 4k, 90% quieter clicks, and Bolt dongle with encryption with stronger dedicated Bluetooth signal, and can work with the MX Mini Keyboard off of one Bolt dongle - I'm doing exactly this.) 3). There are two versions (business and non-business/consumer version) of the MX Master 3 (MX3) device/mouse - the "Business" Version "does" work with the Logitech MX Mini Keys from one dongle called "Bolt", and the non-business/"Consumer" Version does not - because it comes with the "unifying" ORANGE Symbol receiver/dongle and not the Bolt YELLOW symbol receiver/dongle the Logitech Mini Keyboard uses. Unifying has a "ORANGE" colored star on the small insertable dongle and the Bolt is a "YELLOW" field with black lightning symbol on the small insertable dongle. 4). Check out the MX3 S before continuing with quiet clicks, 8k dpi, and Bolt dedicated Bluetooth channel (not shared), stronger signal, and encryption, and able to add MX Mini keys operating from "same" Bolt dongle after using Logitech's Bolt setup software. I have one Bolt dongle for my MX Mini and MX 3 mouse ("Business Version" with Bolt dedicated Bluetooth encrypted dongle, or "S" Version with Bolt dedicated Bluetooth encrypted dongle). 5). Apple version of Mouse - Apple having moved away from the USB A in favor of USB C - may not come with dongle meant for USB A. . . check!
