I decided to try this chinese herb after reading about its rejuvenating effects (who doesn't want to reverse the onset of gray hair?), and I chose to buy it from this supplier as I had a good experience purchasing from them before: they offer high quality supplements at a good price. I have consumed the Fo Ti only a few times so far as I found its effects to be extremely strong. I followed the serving suggestion included on the packaging and the effect was if I had consumed a quadruple espresso: highly energized followed approximately 6 hours later by a feeling of burn-out. I suggest starting with a smaller dose than the provider indicates and working your way upward.

I’ve been only taking this product for less than a week. I bought this hoping to have less gray hair, so obviously that would take months for a real review, but what I do think for sure is helping me is with sleep. I always have a hard time falling sleep at night, specially if I drank coffee during the morning, but I feel this is helping me sleep better. Now about the company the product arrived before I expected and everything went smoothly. The flavor of this power is a little bit strong, I just add it to my coffee or smothie and I can’T feel it anymore.

I read somewhere that Fo-Ti helps with hair growth. It does. And pretty quickly too. I'm not sure if it would do as well if your balding, but if your is just thinning, you might want to check this stuff out. Do check Fo-Ti out as far as it's interactions with prescription medication first. Also be aware that some think it may not be good for your liver. I don't do that much so I don't worry about that too much. But do your research first.

A lot of Bulk supplements products are good. This one, I feel is not. I bought this, along with Samsara's fo-ti (aka He Shou Wu) extract, as well as Plum Flower's fo-ti. Both Samsara and Plum Flower products have a uniformly good result, they make me feel good, they promote good sleep, and I feel not one bit of adverse effect. Bulk Supplements had such a great price, literally 1/2 that of Samsara's, that I had to try it. I tried it, by itself, a number of times for several days up to a week at a time and felt all the good effects vanish, and a slightly sick feeling come in its place. I couldn't figure it out. What could be the difference? I figured it out: I looked at the Answered Questions about the product on Amazon, and found that this fo-ti/he shou wu HAS NOT BEEN COOKED IN BLACK BEAN SOUP. All the Chinese Traditional Medicine sources say cooking it in black bean soup is necessary to bring out the good qualities and eliminate the toxic principles. No doubt this extract HAS been extracted in hot water, but apparently the Chinese are right because whatever extraction process was used was not enough to get rid of all the toxicity from this root. Bulk Supplements offers great prices, so I am sorry to point this out, but I simply can't give it a good review.
