Note here that most of these reviews are for the 6 quart POT, NOT for the sealing gaskets. Mine came crimped out of shape, not in neat little circles as shown in the picture. I managed to get a seal on the first one, but will have to test each one because they are so misshapen. Very strange. Just as the pressure was building up, I pressed down on the lid to see if the fit was firm. IT WASN'T! The whole lid flexed down. Ultimately, it firmed up once the seal was made. I'm not sure if the seal is a 4.7 or not. The vendor has misled people by posting reviews for a POT, not for the product offered. UPDATE: After some use, these are PERFECT. They are round, uniform, and if you pay attention to making sure they are properly seated (the fit is so perfect that you have to make sure they are properly aligned with the internal ring), they seal perfectly EVERY TIME! Was concerned about how it sealed since many reviews of other seals were not great. So tried it immediately upon receipt and didnt wait until the unit "needed" replacement. The material on this seal was not as heavy as one that came with unit from Insta pot but worked well. It fit securely, however I needed to work it a bit to install but they are all that way. Cooked with it and it did a good seal, food cooked fine and NO problems. Removed it from lid after use, washed it and hung it up to dry and store separately from the lid as recommended by Insta Pot. No problems so recommend this seal to anyone. My advice is do not wait until the seal on unit goes, but have one as back up. If you get a new seal, try it out immediately to be sure it works, while you are still in the return window in case of problem. I like that these seals come in colors so its easy to keep track of them for sweet and savory dishes, as well as ones with strong flavors. Good product and good value.
