*Excellent* laminated multifold 8 1/2" x 11" sheet for language study
I have bought several of Quick Study Academic's laminated "cards" (actually multifold sheets--they're 8 1/2" x 11") for language learning--Japanese, Russian, Spanish. Every one I have is remarkable, condensing a great deal of information and usage in a small, sturdy space. Of course they don't contain everything, and are no substitute for good books, audio language CDs/mp3s, etc. But they're a tremendous supplement and refresher; I use mine a lot when I commute on the train. They're easy to get out and put away, and find your place, so they're great for repeated brief reviews when you have a minute. I haven't used one "in country" yet, but I think they'd be *very* useful.

learn on the fly
I like this a lot... the price is a little steep but its worth in the end for me to have all my study materials together and reminders in one place.

Japanese Grammae
Lots of information to view at a glance in this 'quick study'. This condensed card is extremely helpful! Displays of all the writing systems helped me w/ my Hiragana (there is also: Katakana) There's a list of the particles; verb conjugations; some daily expressions; tenses (present, past) of adjectives, as well as for verbs. I'm constantly glancing at it for information. It's all condensed so you don't have to thumb through lots of stuff. I would highly recommended this for anyone who is at a level of high beginner towards intermediate Japanese.
