Q: Is the hanging tube for spiders to drink and humidity?

Mostly humidity. I wouldn’t rely on it to help them drink. A moist paper towel at the bottom will help droplets of water form on top. Don’t use the fake grass. It’s icky and useless.

Q: How do spiders eat from the feeding hole? It looks like it's still enclosed in plastic. Please be very descriptive on how it operates.

The feeding hole has a plunger seal. You pop it out and can drop feed inside and seal it back up. The stopper is sometimes a struggle so I say hold onto the enclosure in a flat surface so you do not jar the spider around. This opens like a ring box, if you can imagine. I opened it this way to clean or arrange enclosure items. You can always drop feed this way as well, it’s likely easier and quicker (And if you have a baby jumper in here they are going to web in the top corners so it’s totally ok, you won’t disturb the hammock. Any other spiders I wouldn’t recommend) The water dropper won’t be enough. Just open the enclosure like a ring box and gently spritz water on one side of the enclosure. Or I sometimes did a damp paper towel which made the box humid enough to create its own water droplets on the side. This will have to be changed and I did easily by opening the entire enclosure. I did keep water in the little tube but it doesn’t serve a purpose, save for maybe keeping humidity up a bit. Please keep in mind I used this ONLY WHEN MY SPIDERS WERE SLINGS, or babies. This is NOT a good enclosure for an adult spider of any kind. I hope this helped.

Q: Does this item come with bedding?

Yes it comes with a grass fur bedding I wouldn’t suggest misting it or anything like that because it does mold and the tree bark attached with it will mold as well.

Q: Do you have to still mist the box or does the water tube give enough humidity and water to drink?

A wet paper towel will last days at the bottom. It’ll create its own water droplets. I had the tube filled as well, but it served only for humidity.
