Q: If the Operating Frequency setting for the entire router or can each ssid be set to it's own value either 2.4 to 5 Ghz?

Q: Does this do content filtering. By that I do not mean url blocking. Based on the inappropriate content tag does this do web filtering? Thank you

I don't believe that it can. It can block based on port numbers or IP addresses, but not URLs or tags.

Q: does this run Cisco IOS?

1. You want to know if you can configure this router on an IOS device? Yes, by logging into the Cisco web interface with Safari. 2. Or, you want to know if you can use an IOS device with this router? Again, yes. Note: I own on of these routers and although it is reliable, it's not a very practical for business use. They market it as an "N" router but it will downgrade itself to the slowest device in the building. In other words, if "Tom" is using his 2006 IBM Think-pad with a b/g NIC, no one will be able to get the "N" speeds. Want to stream videos? Not going to happen while "Tom" is in the building!

Q: I have a small business and currently use Linksys EA 6500, it is a good router but is a consumer level router not for business. I read very different reviews for RV220W. I need a secure router and I have 5 users at office. Is this product recommended? Couldn't find anything cheaper than this with all these advertised features!

If your needs are pretty simple, and are met by the consumer router I would not go for a business router unless I needed specific features like the VPN. The wireless section of the EA 6500 is far better than the RV220W, and the EA 6500 is easier to set up if you don't have a solid knowledge of networking.The RV220W can be an adequate router if you need a VPN, but I had a lot of trouble with faulty early firmware. It took months to get it properly set up before there was an acceptable level of stability. I use separate wireless access points.
