More Agile Testing: Learning Journeys for the Whole Team (The Addison-Wesley Signature) : Gregory, Janet, Crispin, Lisa, Hendrickson, Elisabeth, Rothman, Johanna: desertcart.in: Books Review: After having read Lisa Crispin et.al.' masterpiece which was released some years ago, I was eager to get the update as well. I was not disappointed at all! This book too made it into the list of 20 books, that I would keep should I be forced to reduce my library. All thumbs up! Review: The book reinforces agile principles from different viewpoints, with contributions from many other practitioners. There are no magic bullets. Instead many practices are examined, and you should experiment with what works in your team's context. There are solid updates on how Specification by Example, and Behavior Driven Development can improve your practice from the test perspective.

This is a very good book - almost indispensable. It covers a lot of ground, but is structured in a way that allows you to get what you need without getting bogged down. I particularly like the way the book has been constructed with: - mind maps at the beginning of every section and chapter to really help you navigate to the place that interests you right now - handy graphics in the margin that identify which confidence-building practice is being discussed in the text - practical, grounded experience reports and advice from real testers solving real challenges - extensive links to some of the best online writings of other leading testers There's a lot in this book that will keep me coming back to dip in for another nugget. And there's a wealth of references to further reading that I've either forgotten about or missed entirely. I highly recommend this book. I hope you'll be as delighted with it as I am.
