Elgato Chat Link Pro - Audio Adapter, for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Capture Voice Chat, Gameplay Sound, Extra Long Cable

I originally had given this a lower rating because after a few weeks/month, one of the channels failed, so I was hearing just from my right headset. I reached out to the elgato team and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service, and how quick they were to remedy the situation. Without hesitation they offered a solution that was quick and reasonable. Before the left channel failed me, it worked seamlessly! Plug and play ready and had fixed my streaming challenges. And the audio was crisp and clear! The pro version is supposed to be sturdier but with sensitive cables, things can get damaged. I received my replacement within 5-7 business days. This company was the best in treating their customers! I will continue to buy from Elgato.

My original Chat Link cable started to wear out and even had some exposed wires after more than 2 years of use, so I decided it was time to bite the bullet and just get a new one. I wasn't aware the pro version was even a thing but when i saw it had a ground loop isolator, I knew I had to give it a try. I've had an annoying buzzing sound whenever I streamed or recorded on my PS5 because I have to play wired, and I tried fixing it with different filters on OBS but it always ruined the audio. I then bought a separate ground loop isolator, but it always made my game audio really low so i would have to increase the gain but then that would make some feedback audible. I bought the pro cable, and all of my problems were instantly fixed. There is still a very, very, small buzzing sound but nowhere near what it was before, plus I don't have to increase the gain on my gameplay to make it audible! This cable also fixed an issue on my Xbox where the center channel audio wasn't being picked up so cutscenes were impossible to hear. I'm so happy right now I had to tell someone!

Kind of amazing for music and other A/V use cases. I’ve used this cable for several purposes and it’s been a great addition to my audio gear. Plugs are high quality and remain in the Jack. Audio quality has no noticeable bleed over even at higher amplitude. Great product, would order again from Elgato!

it works well, make sure you use the noise isolator is on when recording to avoid a echo in your game recording

Top quality from El Gato again. Necessary for anyone streaming. Gives clear audio to your gameplay, and isn't a hassle to set up. Works with anything that plugs into it. Short cable though so keep that in mind

Excelente producto

I’ve probably bought 3 of these in the past 9 months. After a month or two, the plug in that goes into controller, wears out and party chat cant hear me until I mess around with the cord (twisting it around, and unplugging/re plugging) to get it to connect again. I’ve replaced controller, headphones, and 3 of these to realize it was these cables. They go bad quickly and honestly I don’t know another option besides an off brand. Here I go buying another one.

Great so far works as advertised

I was having doubt if I should buy this in order to stream on my ps5 to pair up well with my laptop for streaming. It took me 3-4hrs to set up by figuring it out how this wire work. It was totally worth it. Now, I can listen to party chat & while doing commentary live stream at the same time. Luckily, I have the right headphone like with the wired Logitech headset with the microphone on it. I had my Shure mv7 plug in to the laptop. I had the wire plug to my laptop, controller & headphone for this set. For some reason, I cannot hear the audio when I plug into the elgato. It work when I plug to my laptop. I have to set my ps5 setting Audio to HDMI Device(AV amplifier). It doesn't work well with streamlab from my testing. I have to switch to OBS software in order to work. In the end, it is a good additional plug in to save me from headache for not able to party chat while streaming.
