The best for a reason
A family member has adopted coloring as a hobby. She's used a wide range of markers, from Wish sets to more expensive options. She's said that there is a very big difference between the sets. Eventually she decided to try out the Copic markers, as those are said to be among the best brands. They just aren't particularly cheap. She got one and it's become one of her favorite markers. So of course I had to get her some for her birthday. I picked this set out because one of the biggest issues she's run into has been skin tones. Many sets will have colors that can be used in a pinch, but doesn't really match the skin tones you see in real life. She was overjoyed to receive this and used them same day. Of course this set can't match every possible skin tone you might see ever, but she was able to capture many of them much better than she did before. The marker quality was also very good. The ink flowed out evenly and she didn't have any splotches in her artwork - at least unless she wanted them to be there. This is a bit pricey, but I would recommend them if you are a professional artist or a more serious hobby colorist. If you're a bit more casual then you could probably stick to the cheaper stuff - those are still good. It's just that these are known as some of the best for a reason.

Super Great
This is my first set of Copics, and I am hooked. I have a set of Ohuhu, and they're just meh, and I read that the Copic skin colours were really good, so I decided to purchase these. I love the brush, it's soft and smooth, and I feel like the cap colour is very representative of the actual colour you'll get. I still swatch, but it's not nearly as surprising as the Ohuhu. A full set of Copics isn't affordable for me right now, but I'll probably replace the Ohuhu with these as I need more, or go for these for additional colours. Super nice, and so far, seems worth the price tag.

High quality markers for artists
My high school age daughter asked for these alcohol-based markers for Christmas, and loves them! They are strongly pigmented and blend nicely. She uses them for her own sketchbook as well as school projects. We also purchased the pastel and starter set. Definitely recommend for any artist!

Great Markers
I’ve heard nothing but good things about Copic markers for years, so I was genuinely excited to finally try the Copic Sketch Alcohol Markers (6 Color Dual set). Overall, the quality is definitely there — the ink is rich, blends beautifully, and the colors look exactly as you’d expect from a premium brand. That said, my very first use was a little rough. While pulling a clean line, the marker suddenly “dumped” ink at the tip and created a noticeable pool on the paper. There was no change in pressure or angle — it just happened out of nowhere and definitely caught me off guard. If this had been on a finished piece, it would’ve been frustrating. After that initial hiccup, the markers performed well and felt smooth and consistent, so I’m hoping it was just a one-off or something that happens when they’re brand new. These clearly aren’t beginner-cheap markers, and they do deliver professional results, but they do seem to have a bit of a learning curve and require a light, controlled hand. Great markers with excellent color and blendability, just be aware that they can be unforgiving if the ink decides to surge unexpectedly. Solid product overall, but not quite perfect out of the gate.

Worth the price
great birthday gift for any family artist. my boyfriend and I met in art school and he's always wanted alcohol markers. You get what you pay for don't skimp! Copics are the best out there I've tried several cheaper versions to get buy with sketches but I only use copics on the final projects.
