My hairline was receding really bad so I gave this product a shot so I bought the foam which is easy to apply, after a month of constantly using it along with the derma roller I started to seeing tiny hairs growing where my hair has receding. I've been using this product for almost 10 months now and I can tell you that a lot of hair has grown back since I've been using it! And it's growing not only in the front but also on the sides as well, which is something they said shouldn't happen. I've even been using it on my eyebrows, and it has thickened them up a little bit! The only problem is you get a little crazy hairs growing! For best results, I recommend using rogaine with a good shampoo that deep cleans your scalp. I also recommend taking 800 mg of Biotin, and the herb Foti, a Chinese herb that helps your scalp and your follicles and helps your hair grow.

I appreciate their honesty on their package by stating it won't grow hair. I used it for over a year combined with hair shampoo and derma rolling. NOTHING! And I even doubled the dosage. Waste of time for me. I stopped cold turkey and had no hair fall. It may have stopped me from losing any more hair, but not worth the time. As with 99% of hair fall meds, they never work. The ones that say they do are just falling for the placebo effect.

Works, I thought it was a gimmick. Only 2 bottles in. Hair came back from my front hairline and its getting longer/thicker each week.

This review and its one-star rating have to do with the misleading and false adverting of this listing. They don't show in this listing that this product ONLY works for the vertex of your head. I never even heard the term vertex before. The vertex is the top back spot of your head. The area where many men get a bald spot. This is what it says on the box: "Minoxidil Topical Aerosol, 5% (Foam) is for men who have a general thinning of hair on the top of the scalp (vertex only, as shown below). Not intended for frontal baldness or a receding hairline." I attached a photo of the box. As soon as I saw this on the box, I tried to open a return request. The packaging was not opened. However, (another new thing I learned) this is a non-returnable item. Since the product was not used, I can't comment beyond the misleading and false advertisement. Side Note: The instructions say this product has to be applied twice a day to the scalp, not the hair. The foam has a lot of steps to dispense and apply, and the foam canisters have caps that are difficult to open. If you are dealing with thinning hair or loss of hair on the vertex of your head and you want to try this product, first I would say do extensive research, and second I think I would steer you towards the solution over the foarm, that's assuming this is a product you want to try.

So I’ve been on keeps three months, and above I’ve given a two month photo and a three month photo, and you’ll see my hair is coming in! The top of my head has had even better success. I can finally get out of the shower and not look bald. The most exciting part is it takes 6-9 months to see full hair growth, and considering it’s only been three, I’m overjoyed to see how my hairline comes back. I had been stressed and worried when it started thinning and receding, I didn’t want to be bald and I didn’t wanna take pills that could harm my hormones, and this foam has been the perfect product, I only wish I had started it sooner. Be fair warned, you will notice shedding of hair when you first start, I promise it scared me but keep with it, it comes back, it’s your scalp getting used to the formula, and this can vary for different people. It has completely cured my horrid dandruff as well, I had the worst flaking scalp for the last year and nothing I used worked on it but since keeps it’s been clean and dry, no oily hair for me, and if you’re concerned with the cost just remember, women buy new clothes and makeup weekly or monthly, and $50 is a small price once every three months to look your best. Just please start it sooner than later, the longer you wait the more damage you do to your hair line and I can’t promise it cures baldness, also if you hear the argument “Your hairs gonna fall out if you stop using it!” Well duh, your hair was falling out before you started using it.

I have a receeding hairline, so I looked into rogane. before trying keeps, I was accidentally prescribed womens rogane, which I believe was 2%, compared to the 5% in this solution (and other typical mens hair growth). I’ve been using the womens rogane lol since the beginning of august because it was $30 for one bottle. (Don’t get it prescribed lol) I didn’t notice much with that product. I started using Keeps, September 13th. Since then, it’s now October 1st— I have already noticed lots and lots of baby hairs starting to grow around my hairline. I believe on the bottle, it says do not use for hairline?… but once again I bought it for my hairline, and so far there has been lots of new hairs appearing. Also, after almost a month, my hair feels thinker at my hairline. It really does make me feel like this product is actually working. Oily: like most have said, this product is oilier than the others. For me, I don’t mind because it actually give me hope that it’s staying on my scalp and doing it’s thing. Opposed to the other watery solutions, that made me think it would easily sweat off, or not absorb as fast as it did drip down my head… over all, I have thin hair, and the oil level is okay with me. Makes it nicer to rub into my scalp. The cost: I got three bottles for the same or LESS price than I did when I bought one* bottle of rogane. I highly recommend this product. The cost is good enough to at least try it if your weary! So far it’s working for me, and I almost can’t believe it! Hopefully my new hairs continue to grow and by spring I might have a thicker hairline than I used to! Def recommend.
