Q: Can I microwave water in tea maker?

I wouldn’t if you’re not sure. Microwave the water in something else, or get an electric teapot and heat the water in that. They are relatively cheap

Q: Does the lid filter loose tea leaves well or do the leaves get into the cups?

The lid filter works well, no leaves get into the cup.

Q: Do they sell replacement cups? I have had mine a few years and just broke one cup.
