THIS… is eXtremeRate‘s shell replacement for Xbox controllers and it is simply the best shell replacement I have found this far. From an OEM fit to a step-by-step video guide, you really can’t go wrong here!Please Note - this photo shows 2 shell replacements and not just one - see bottom for detailsAlso, note - I recommend a screwdriver and a bit kit as the screws are easy to take out of the Xbox remote but absolutely horrendous to put back in. This has nothing to do with eXtremeRate but rather the Xbox remote.The shell comes with everything you would need, and the instructions also are spectacular. Changing just the front shell? Awesome video for that! Changing the back and the front as I have? Same exact thing! All in all, it took me about 15 minutes to completely swap the shells out and only cursed a hand full of times. The only part that sucked was removing the grips from the back to access the screws - you will think you are about to snap the whole thing in half but I promise you just keep pulling and it will pop off. I broke 3 spudgers trying to be gentle and when I just gripped and ripped it off it came off with no issue!The fitment is spectacular and feels just like or better than OEM. Everything clicks and screws together just fine and I was never left wondering or guessing on the fitment.I have used eXtremeRates shells several times now on both PS5 and Xbox controllers and have had great success every single time, and I think it has really improved the aesthetic of my gaming setup for really a relatively low cost! I’m sure if you give these shell cases a chance, you will find that you love them just as much as I do! I'm currently making 4 controllers for me and a couple of friends. This will be mine and so far has turned great. I love the joker so I was glad to get a face covering. The covering seems to be well made. The screws were tight to get in, had to use pliers on one hole, but the end result was worth it. All in all I'm happy with the product and will be getting more from them in the future.

I didn’t realize that plastic could feel this way until I discovered these faceplates. I bought this to upgrade my son’s controller and it came with everything needed to swap the faceplate. It was easy to install. The material is a soft, velvety plastic that it nice. The design holds up well, doesn’t rub off with extended use. This is a great way to customize your controller, I definitely recommend!

I do like the face plate and backing plate there both good quilty and very well made. But before shipping out the face plates. The holes for the screws are brand new and are plastic witch makes it very very hard to run a t8 security screw all the way down. Solution was to brake the middle tab in the middle of the screw use a T8 drill pit. Drill driver all the way down to 1 run the screw in and out each hole them put in a T8 Security screw provided black for me. Now this can be avoided bye taking 5 sec on each face plate running the screws provided in each hole then letting the customer take them out when they get the faceplate. Then no one has to scuff up the controller making the holes work. But you can't see it with the grips on but more of the point.

This is a controller for a Xbox One it's also used for the computer it was easy to install and the graphics on it are really cool nice and bright so you can actually tell what it is

Hardest part will be getting the grips to pop off. Otherwise easy breezy. Now if only they had a nice Sakura cover wife would have hers replaced.

Great cover, easy to replace following the steps on the YouTube video provided by seller. Easy to follow.also purchased the buttons in red from the same seller. Son loves his new personalised controller

Quick and easy, took about 15 minutes to get it all apart and back together. Fits well, feels great in hand, very nice!

Unless you have the patience off a saint or want to ruin you're warranty dint bother with this product

I love this faceplate, awesome design and good quality!

Really happy with this face plate, much cooler than the original white. I love the feel of it too, it’s a soft touch satin matte like texture and I actually prefer it to the original plate texture by far. This particular design also looks really good on the white controller not just the black.In terms of installation, it definitely was a case of the video made it look easier than it was. Then again they’ve probably done it a lot more times and got the technique down. It took me about half an hour to do it in total just because of how much I struggled to get the two back grips off, this took most the time. You have to really put some careful force into it. I recommend wrapping something around the handle of the prying tool provided to not hurt your fingers/hand as well as this made it quite a lot easier.Once they were off it was fairly smooth sailing and super easy, just make sure you tighten the screws back up super tight as tight as they will go (I used a rubber grip cloth to help) otherwise the faceplate will have a little movement.All in all it was a great purchase and a fairly easy way to customise your controller which I appreciate!
