Fixed audio interface interference
Had a terrible hissing and static sound coming through my Focusrite Scarlett Solo audio interface. Tried balanced TRS cables first which did get rid of most of it, but could still hear feedback from the monitor and mouse movement. Plugged in this isolator and the remaining sound was immediately gone.

Worked for my digital piano and DAW
I have a home digital piano and a computer that hosts Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software. The piano has a two prong plug (i.e., it has no ground). It has a USB connection to the computer for MIDI and PCM audio streams. And it has line outs that I wanted to connect to my studio monitor speakers. The computer also has line outs to those studio monitors. That makes two paths to the computer Earth (house power) ground from the piano (USB and speaker line outs) forming a classic ground loop. The result was noise in the speakers. Isolating the ground on the USB connection eliminated the noise completely. This device is "plug and play". It took all of about 1 minute to solve my problem.

Would be 5 stars if supplied with the power canle
Immediately solved an electrical noise issue on the USB. The product does not come with the 5V power supply not even a USB cable to use with a typical 5V USB wall charger. That said, I had moved my home recording studio and was experiencing significant noise to my Focusrite audio interface; both genral static and noise related to disk access, usb mouse movement, GPU processing, etc. this unit instantly solved that issue.

BEWARE: Destroyed my USB hub
My HX Stomp produces hum in the audio output when plugged into USB, and I got this device in an attempt to rectify it. I plugged the isolator into my Anker 7-port USB 3 hub, then plugged the HX into the isolator. It did eliminate the hum, but I couldn't get the HX to connect to my computer. I then noticed that the other devices on the hub weren't connecting either, and the little lights by the ports had gone out. The top 4 ports of the hub were no longer working, even after I removed the isolator! As a test, I plugged the isolator into one of the remaining ports, and instantly the rest of the hub was fried, too. It's possible I got a defective one, so your milage may vary. But I would be very careful with these things. I'm really glad I didn't plug it directly into my computer.

Works perfectly
I had a significant ground loop in an unbalanced line off of a USB sound card that was part of an otherwise balanced audio setup. It didn't matter what I did, I couldn't mitigate it. I was skeptical when I ordered this, but it worked perfectly right away! The line is completely silent even at full volume.

I thought it was a bit pricy but ended up working very well.
I had very distracting electrical sounds and I put up with if it for a while. I found out about these and decided to try it out. It worked very well for my situation. I think that a lot of my sounds were from a gpu on my computer. It is a little annoying they don't just include the ac adaptor because without it, you might not be able to use an audio interface because it wont supply enough power.

solved ground loop problem
solved ground loop problem for DP100 while reading power value from DP100 and controlling the DUT at the same time.

Works on Some Devices, But Not on Others
I was trying to isolate a USB connection between a PC and a computer-controlled radio. I get an error message from the PC app that the device is not ready. I can plug in a USB memory stick and that seems to work fine but certainly don't need a memory stick to be isolated. Also tried a USB hard drive and that did not work either. Not sure what the difference is.

I bought this to fix my hummm noise on my Samson Mic as people were suggesting it gets rid of that when using the USB connections. WRONG. The electrical humm noise is there. I wish I returned this garbage. It's probably empty inside since it weighs like a feather. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I bought this because my Sound Blaster X7 Limited USB Sound Processor for the last 9 years has made clicks & popping sounds, it also got worse if 24 bit, 48,000 kHz was selected. It always had to be at 16 bit, but still made unwanted noises. I picked up this isolator plus a 5V DC power adaptor https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0BCFLW78Y?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I have been using it for around 6 hours and ZERO unwanted noise and set to 24 bit. Very happy with this purchase, I wish I would have found this years ago.
